Guest guest
Hi All, My son (5 years old) just started Acyclovir as part of our first try and anti-viral treatment, about 6 days ago. Here is what we are seeing: 1. More aggression 2. More lack of impulse control 3. Throwing toys (he's always thrown toys when he doesn't know what to do with them but this has increased. 4. Low muscle tone issues again (seeing tongue sticking out more when relaxed 5. Deep cough I haven't seen any wow's or even any real good changes yet. Right now we're pretty frustrated with him because he is just being so mean to his sister and mean to his toys. Is aggression and aggresive type behaviors something we might see with anti virals? He is pretty high functioning so I'm just not sure what is going on here and I know we should just stay the course. Is this part of the regression (things being worse before they get better sort of thing)? Please advise. We're on Nystatin for yeast control and a boat load of other suppliments. Thanks for your help. Marla
