Guest guest
Sis, I have also noticed ear problems since implants and still since explant. It is my right side which was the side effected the most by implants. I noticed that anything is piercing to my right ear. If you open a pop can around me OMG it hurts. Lets face it these implants cause so many problems for us. The doctor's who told me I was phyco and was making myself get these symptoms are the phyco ones. I must have an awesome brain to make my symptoms only happen on one side, the right side. How ridiculous is that? I am worried I have brain damage with this brain fog, getting lost and not being able to remember anything at all. It is scary that is for sure. Guest guest
Rogene, I totally agree, our age has nothing to do with it. Then if we want to talk ages. What about all the poor kids that are ill because there Mother's had implants. Is this normal for a child? These Dr's must have done a lot of partying or cheating in there college years. It is just terrible. Well what about all the doctor's who looked at me and said, Well Donna you look fine! I am telling them I feel like I am going to die. They only look on the outside and not on the inside. This is a sad world is all I can say about that. I had one doctor when I told him I been sick since implants say, Well you got a nice set of boobs out of the deal. I gave a pissed off look and double take and my replay. What the hell are these boobs gonna do for me if I am sick as hell. Donna
Guest guest
, I agree with you totally on that issue. I once told the manufacture who made my implants after I caught them in there lies. I said look you might be able to pull your lies and shit on women who had implants for say 8 to 30 years, but I have been sick since getting these damn things a little over a year now. So don't tell me I am not sick from them and I am sick of hearing your lies I have caught you in so many already. I also asked her if she had implants and she said, NO, and I said I know why you work there. This is totally ridiculous how a person like me goes from water fitness, racing BMX bikes and getting first place trophies, riding 8 miles a day on my bike for practice and after those 8 miles still cleaned my house, walked the dogs and cooked supper and took care of two kids and two dogs and a boyfriend and had a small business. I get implants and I am stuck on that couch for over a year, I got fed up and I figured it out finally, but it was from no help of doctors PS or the implant manufacture. It was from perfect strangers and support sites like this. I don't know if I can ever become well again to be the same as before, but I am going to give it hell let me tell you. I just can't believe they fooled me as long as they did. I look back and wished I had followed my gut, instead of believing the expert 30 year PS I picked from other PS I trusted him with my life and he failed me more than words could ever say. It is a sad day in our country, this should be criminal for anyone to live the way we lived for so long. I am mad about a little over a year, what about the women who live up to 30 years or more, it sickens me and I just can't imagine that. I felt at times that I just wanted to die, but didn't want to leave my kids, I would tell myself I am all they have. I talked to God a lot during that year and I guess he was trying to tell me to follow my gut. I will never make that same mistake twice trust me. GOD sent me to the support I needed and because of the women who devote there lives warning other women and by the grace of God and my Angel for a doctor. I am alive!!! Guest guest
I've noticed that, too. One thing I keep forgetting to report as a list of my symptoms is that since I had implants, I've suffered hearing loss. Last night it hurt to make dinner because my ears were so sensitive. I wonder if this symptom is here to stay? Guest guest
, I was such an outdoor person. I ride a Banshee don't know if anyone knows what that is but it is a very fast quad runner. I have travel all over the USA to ride it too, with my boyfriend he has one as well. I enjoy the photo's I can take when I travel. I love scenery and waterfalls are my favorite. We have this huge corked framed map like Letterman show and we put a little flag on it when we get home of every trip. I did the water fitness because my boyfriend and I was really getting into snorkeling, we bought all of our gear after going on a cruise to the Bahamas and feel in love with the under ocean world. We bought our gear and went to Cozumel, Mexico to snorkel and Zel-Ha, what memories I have so many. I have to say I miss this so much. Since BA I can't even swim anymore and man was I a good swimmer. It was hard to stroke my right arm because my right implant was infected, I just figured that out when I got the explant. The part I hate the worse is for Christmas of 2004 my boyfriend of 5 years bought me my wedding bands. We were planning to get married in Hawaii a long time dream of ours to go there and get married and island hop on all islands for two weeks. I got BA two months after that and there that went down the drain. I can only pray now that the implants are gone I can swim again and go see those fish and brain corals and reefs in the ocean. I might one day be well enough to go to Hawaii and get married. God Bless!!! Donna
Guest guest
Your right Donna, I am 33 and all my symptoms are not typical of someone my age. Because the majority of 33 year olds appear healthy. I think instead of looking at a person's symptoms and see that it is not typical for a healthy person to fee this way, they look at the whole. We are an unhealthy society. So it is easier to make being unhealthy the norm. So when they can say Rogene's mother is doing good for her age, they are really saying that those in her age group are not healthy. It is easier to accept that we get more unhealthy as we age as normal, then to fix the issues that make us increasingly unhealthy. Guest guest
I used to have that incredible sensitivity to noise after I got sick from implants too. It was like my brain got startled with the loud noise or something (not sure how to explain it!). I was pretty jumpy. But, thank God, that is gone now! I thought I read somewhere that it had to do with the adrenal glands, but I'd have to look that up again, which I will try to do later. Just wanted to confirm that I also experienced that. Guest guest
, I bet in 6 months you are going to be feeling much better, and the vacation will do you much good. I am so glad you've been able to plan this. Don't stress about your symptoms....but look forward to a wonderful break and alone time with your husband. I am happy for you. Patty Lamse <wannabe_proverbs31@...> wrote: Oh Donna, You and I are so much alike. My husband and I got into SCUBA diving during our dating years. We have traveled around on diving trips also. We have even dived in Cozumel. Beautiful diving there. We have all our own equiptment also, I don't want it to go to waste. And also we got married in Hawaii. We spent two wonderful weeks on the island of Kauai. I saw my first sharks diving in Hawaii. We went in Feb. during whale migrating season. I even got to hear the whales sing underwater. We are now planning a trip to St. Maarten this December. We cashed in all out frequent flyer miles and our time share points. We needed a vacation from all of this. We are blessed because this vacation isn't costing much at all. I hope I don't have to take many symptoms down with me, cuz then it really wouldn't be getting away from it all. It would be so nice if I could take my scuba equiptment down with me. __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Patty and Molly and , I hope I get well someday and yes I will tell you all when I get married. I just was too sick to do anything. I am real surprised my boyfriend now of 7 years stayed with me through this. I am lucky and count my blessings for that. He is very good to me and that is all that matters in the end. So I guess I got to see first hand for better or worse out of this mess. I am so worried since Dr. Kolb told me I have bio-toxin disease. Does this go away? Well thanks girls for the message that was nice. Hugs to all, Donna
