Guest guest
>Do you think she meant IV Glutathione?? This is what I found. Lynda Intravenous Glutathione Protocol [] As you read in my column, IV glutathione can be helpful in many patients who suffer from Parkinson's disorder. This is because glutathione makes the brain more sensitive to circulating dopamine. In addition, glutathione is a potent free-radical scavenger and also helps improve Phase II Liver Detoxification. These abilities make glutathione an effective measure in the treatment of Parkinson's. But that's not all. Because glutathione is such a powerful antioxidant and is crucial to proper functioning of the central nervous system, it is useful in other neurodegenerative disorders. So why have we not heard more of this natural compound? The same reason we don't hear of any other powerful natural substances . . . no one can patent it, so there's no money to be made in advertising it. So, as you read the following protocol, think of your patients who are suffering from Alzheimers, ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), Post-Polio Syndrome, Stroke and Multiple Sclerosis. All of these illnesses pose challenges to the physician who thinks in terms of symptomatic treatment. But these illnesses usually respond dramatically once IV glutathione is integrated in the treatment plan. Adverse events are slim to none. The following protocol for IV Glutathione was developed by Dr. Perlmutter, board certified neurologist and author of the book, " <http://www.brainrecovery.com>BrainRecovery.com. " Obviously, patient response is varied so treatment protocols may need to vary from patient to patient, but the following excerpt from Dr. Perlmutter's book (page 78) may give you an idea of where to begin. [] Intravenous Glutathione Our protocol for using glutathione is relatively simple. Glutathione is inexpensive and easily obtained (see below). We use liquid glutathione, not reconstituted powder. It should be administered, at least initially, by a qualified healthcare practitioner as follows: * Dilute the appropriate dosage of glutathione liquid in 10 cc of sterile normal saline. Usually, vials contain 200mg, but read the label. * This solution is then injected through a 21-gauge butterfly catheter intravenously over a 15 to 20 minute period of time. * Alternatively, many patients choose to have intravenous access ports inserted. This allows frequent glutathione administration without repeated needle sticks. * Treatment begins at 600mg glutathione 3 times a week and may be increased to daily injections of up to 800 mg depending on results. Alternatively, a schedule of 1400 mg glutathione 3 times a week may be utilized.
Guest guest
The only MSH about which I am aware is Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone which increases during pregnancy when it's secreted by the pituitary... it's the cause of altered pigmentation in pregnant women where the aeroli becomes enlarged and darker in color. Perhaps you mean something else administered intravenously - perhaps something with sugar and fluids for hydration. An intravenous must be ordered by a physician and administered by his orders by a qualified phlebotomist. I have no idea why an IV would be ordered in the presence of low MSH. Maybe you mean TSH but that, too, wouldn't be associated with IV therapy. Sherry Re: Re: Aging, or no? Patty and Sis and everyone: Yes it is ear piercing to hear noise at times. I knew it was from these implants just like the rest. I HAVE A QUESTION? DR. KOLB CALLED ME AND TOLD ME MY MSH LEVEL WAS VERY LOW AND 8. SHE SAID SHE RECOMMENDS THE IV GLUDISONE (SPELLING) DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT MSH MEANS???????? DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS IV GLUDISONE AND WHERE TO GET IT???? Guest guest
Donna, That is amazing, because that's what happens to me - when I'm putting dishes away, the sound hurts my ears so badly. Guest guest
No...I think the MSH test is a test Dr. Kolb performs. I think I read about it in her newsletters or somewhere on her site. However, I am still trying to figure out what the acronym stands for. --- In , _00_ <5678@...> wrote: > > The only MSH about which I am aware is Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone which increases during pregnancy when it's secreted by the pituitary... it's the cause of altered pigmentation in pregnant women where the aeroli becomes enlarged and darker in color. > > Perhaps you mean something else administered intravenously - perhaps something with sugar and fluids for hydration. Guest guest
Hey, I am the coffee enema queen here! I've done hundreds of these things, so let me assure you that these are safe, effective, and once you get the routine down pat, easy to do. I'll copy and paste the info I have in our files, which includes a discussion of WHY coffee enemas are effective. They sound bizarre, but they really do remove toxins from the body very effectively. Dr. Max Gerson was a genius, cured hundreds of cancer patients using coffee enemas, and was never recognized for his tremendous medical accomplishments. An internet search for coffee enemas and Dr. Max Gerson will yield lots of info.NOTE: It is a good idea to start with a warm water enema first, to remove the wastes present and ready to be eliminated. Then follow with the coffee enema for full benefit. BASIC DIRECTIONS (1) Boil 1 quart/1 liter water, with 3 rounded tablespoons of freshly ground coffee in non-metal pan (I use glass)over med heat. Use only filtered, purified or distilled water, not tap water. Do not use a coffee maker. Use only organically grown, non-decaffeinated coffee beans. Store coffee beans in the freezer to retain freshness. (2) Allow coffee to boil for 5-15 min, to evaporate the oils. (3) Let cool to body temp. (4) Strain, using a fine-mesh stainless steel tea strainer(it looks like screen wire) to strain out the grounds, leaving the "silt". Since many of the beneficial elements for detoxification in the coffee are fiber-bound, it isn't a good idea to use a paper strainer, or even a cloth, unless it's got a fairly coarse weave. (5) Filtered water may be added back to make one full quart. Using an enema bag, insert coffee mixture into rectum. Lie on your right side for 15 min with knees toward your chest, breathing deeply. (6) Evacuate bowels. Additional comments on the coffee enema: "Gerson knew that the coffee enema dilated the bile ducts and caused a flushing of toxic bile from the liver. (Drinking coffee constricts the bile ducts). He also knew that this was the most effective method for detoxification. Since Gerson's time various active ingredients in coffee have been identified and most interestingly, the palmitates present in coffee increase the binding of toxic elements by the bile 7-fold and this enzyme-enhancing ability in the liver and small intestine does not allow reabsorption of the toxic bile. Most cholerectic herbs do not ensure this complete removal of toxins but only an increase in bile flow. In order to assist detoxification I often recommend the coffee enema. They guard against a toxic build-up that can make you feel so dreadful and in this way help the body to heal. It is important to remember that the coffee enemas go hand-in-hand with the juices: no enemas - no juices and no juices - no enemas. The juices will remove toxicity from the tissues and the coffee enema ensures its removal to the outside. If used without the juices they will ultimately have a depleting effect on nutrients. The rule of thumb is - 3 juices (3 x 250mls) per coffee enema. If you increase the juices then you can safely increase the enemas." From "Detoxing and the Flagging Liver(part 2 of 3)by (From Gerson Healing Newsletter Vol. 15, No. 3, May-June, 2000) http://www.gerson.org/healing/articles/nl_detoxingliver.htm QUESTION: How does coffee taken orally differ from taking it as a rectal enema? ANSWER: Coffee taken by mouth is a vasoconstrictor causing capillary and bile duct constriction. Drinking coffee is damaging to the stomach due to the aromatic fatty acids (which are not absorbed through the colon since the aromatics are boiled off in the "coffee enema recipe" preparation). Drinking coffee is an artificial stimulant and appetite suppressant as well as creating a more acidic environment in the body which is counter productive to healing. When taking the coffee enema, the caffeine and other components act to relax and open the bile ducts releasing toxins (as much as seven times the normal rate) from the liver. The glutathione-S transferase system is activated as well to enhance the functions of the immune system. Simply put, one is health giving and on is not. Choose the "coffee break" that is cleansing and supportive. Thousands of people have found this to be true. The coffee enema is also an excellent method for pain relief that is caused by toxic build up in the liver and colon. Remember, Dr. Gerson first developed his Therapy to cure his migraine headaches. However, a word of caution: any more than one coffee enema a day should be taken with sufficient juices and supplements to maintain a healthy balance in the body. Dr. Gerson spent many years developing a safe and effective therapy that requires some attention and study by the users. Still have questions? Guest guest
Sis, The speaking of a concert hurts my ears already, yes I would bring earplugs for sure. Guest guest
Donna, The T-shirt is too funny!! I almost feel like wearing ear plugs when I put the dishes away, it just rings in my head so loudly. It seems like it's worse at night. I've got tickets to go see Springsteen in a few weeks, I'm wondering how that's going to be. It seems like it's the sharp sounds, though, like putting away dishes and things of that nature, so hopefully Springsteen will be ok. I probably should pick up ear plugs, since the music is always so loud at concerts anyway.
