Just took a full tablespoon of BS molasses, not really too bad :) I

also drink black cherry concentrate straight out of the bottle and can

tolerate that. It seems to help with my muscle pain..... very

alkalizing to the body! I think I'll take both twice a day and see if

there is any improvement with the pain.

Unsulphured, blackstrap molasses is what you are looking for, the least

refined. But do you know what molasses is? Keep in mind that if the can or

beets are growing in fields that have been sprayed with not-so-friendly

substances then you are getting more than you paid for, ingredient-wise. Go

for organic unsulphured blackstrap molasseses. Say that five times fast!

hi shanda. i have used molasses in a gingerbread soap that i make around

christmas time. use it just like honey (like any sugar it will heat up

the soap so watch temps).

janice cox has a couple of recipes in " natural beauty for all seasons "

that call for molasses - one is a nail soak, the other is a hair

conditioner - she says that it is a humectant so it seems like you could

use molasses in many recipes that call for honey and get similar benefits.
