Lack of thyroid severely slows your metabolism.

I lose weight when mine is right, but cannot lose (and often gain

quite a bit) when my thyroid is too low.

J. Shomon has written an excellent book that is now available in paperbook called "The Thyroid Diet: Manage your Metabolism for Lasting Weight Loss." She's the current pioneer toward this cause....... She has thyorid disease, as well. Her website is www.thyroid-info.com

I just ordered Shomon's book . ..

I used to be on her mail list - years ago! . . . She's

tops! Is the medical community taking her seriously

now? I suspect she knows more about thyroid

functioning than 99% of the doctors.
