Guest guest
Sorry, Rogene.... as a physician, I am not quite convinced as to the benefit of your suggestions. Thanks anyway..... Sherry Re: Re: Rogene? YOU ARE A GODDESS! Sherry,Fungal organisms quickly develop a tolerance to manymedications . . . IMHO, you'd do better using anatural product - like Garden of Life's Fungal Defense(one bottle) followed by Primal Defense indefinitely.. . Between the two, you'll give your body a chance torecolonize the beneficial organisms that your bodyneeds to keep the negative organisms at bay. Virgin Coconut Oil contains something that helpscontrol fungal organism . . . It feels wonderful onthe skin - after you get through the first few minutesof oiliness! . . . Use it sparingly and give it atleast 15 minutes to soak in before wiping the excessoff. . . It will make your stools oily. It will alsomake you wonder what all the commercial cosmeticproducts do as they work their way through your body. Natural things that have a anti-fungal action areAcidopholis, Oil of Oregano (put it in juice, or getcapsules), grapefruit seed extract, fresh raw crushedgarlic, Olive leaf extract, Keflir, organicsauerkraut, yogurt, etc. . . The book "The Maker's Diet" has a wealth ofinformation about why these foods are so essential.Hugs,Rogene

Guest guest
Sherry, I can understand that you don't accept my views . . . If physicians were more aware of these issues, the practice of medicine would be considerably different. I will say that some of the doctors in my area are now prescribing probiotics whenever they prescribe antibiotics . . . .Somehow the word is getting out! " The Maker's Diet " does a far better job than I can of explaining it. . . We've been watching women get better after adopting similar diets for some time now. As I see it, one of the problems is that the negative organisms are normally found in the human body. The problem is not their presence, but the fact that they have become dominent over the beneficial organisms. I'm not sure what the tests doctors do for fungal issues - but it seems that, if a fungal problem can't be seen, it's not diagnosed. I'd suggest having your lesions tested for fungus. You might be able to post to our Photo section . . . As long as they aren't pictures of a breast - that throws us into an " Adults Only " classification. We have a Shutterfly address for those. (I can't remember what it is right now.) Hugs and prayers, Rogene

Guest guest
Hi , You can rub it on your skin, use it in cooking, or eat it right off the spoon. My massage therapist uses it exclusively now because it allows her to get hold of the muscle without slipping off and is easier on her hands. It got a bad rap some years back . . . you can get a lot of info on www.tropicaltraditions.com . . . It's really a very healthy oil. Don't be surprised if, when you get it, it's a solid - then turns liquid - or vice versa. It " melts " at a very low temp. It's not great at keeping foods from sticking though - so I use a little olive oil with it. Virgin CO has a decidely coconut taste and smell. I preferred the lower quality for cooking most things. Guest guest
Rogene, I had my surgery Wednesday and I have not went to the bath room since. I wondered if you had any suggestions for this. I also wondered if you could help me with the food issue. I am starving over here. I am on Dr. Kolb's diet protocol. I figured if anyone could help it would be here. Any suggestions girls feel free. I wondered if It would be safe to do some milk of magnesium??? for constipation?? or does it normally take a while before going to the bathroom after a surgery. I was out for a while and all on that anesthesia?? Thanks, Donna

Guest guest
Rogene, I totally agree, I have a lot of anger in me right now and it bothers me. I can forgive but I don't think I can forget this. I don't like the anger feeling and God knows I am trying to fight that right now and I am not all that strong. I just layed in the bed today and sang, Jesus loves me to myself and that help me rather than boiling over the stupid Dr's and what they have put me and my family thru in the past. It seemed to help me, I went to sleep and sleeped more than ever today. I am so tired this is awful to go thru... Hugs, Donna
Guest guest
, It has been the hardest year and four months of my life. I thank god the implants are gone. The right one was so infected. It is not that bad I have been in pain so long that this is my road to recovery I pray and hope. If you have infected implants get them out asap. I think It saved my life. It is not as hard as getting implants and being sick for a year and four months that is for sure. I just am worried if I will get well or not? I want to be normal again and the unknown is scary. The surgery I do not regret, I thank god daily for that and finding a good surgeon is so important. Donna
Guest guest
, My skin does look better. I am on like 10 different meds right now. Most natural vitamins/minerals. I am following Dr. Kolbs directions in hopes that I will regain my health. I am tired of the whole mess to be honest and exhausted from surgery and travel and symptoms I have been dealing with. Don't look back Get R Done, you won't regret that decision that is for sure. I just about died when she said she seen stuff floating in my implant. That is scary for me, I know what ever it was that was in my implant no antibiotic would kill it because I been on them since last august and still sick with low grade fever daily. Guest guest
, Anger ranks right up there with stress when it comes to the toll it takes on ones health . . . You must figure out what mental gymnastics work for you to let go of the anger. I consider anger to be like acid . . . It destroys the vessel that holds it. . . I can't tell you how to handle it . . . we all have different ways . .. I remember they said President Eisenhower wrote the name of people who he was angry at on a piece of paper . . . threw that paper in the bottom of a drawer, while mentally dismissing them. I've found that praying for the people with whom I'm angry causes a shift in my feelings towards them. That doesn't mean that I like them . . . but it takes the wind out of it's sails. Anger consumes a tremendous amount of energy. You need all your energy to heal - not to dwell on negative emotions! Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Milk of Magnesia is good . . . A good calcium/magnesium supplement will help too. . . And, if you have any handy, just rubbing coconut oil over your body will help. There are probably some stool softeners that would work . . . but I don't know the names of them. You could check with the druggist. I've heard some do get really hungry on Dr. Kolb's protocol . . . Try to concentrate on what you CAN eat, not what you can't. I don't think you need to go hungry. If I remember her diet, she's eliminating the high glycemic (sugar) foods from your diet to curb fungal growth. . . If you've been used to eating a lot of these foods, you can expect your body to go through a shock period while you make the switch. If you weren't in the process of recovering from surgery, I'd suggest fasting. Patty can tell you more about that when she's back. Also . . . keep drinking a lot of non-chlorinated water! . . . being dehydrated will make you constipated too. Guest guest
Rogene, Yes I am drinking lots of water. No sugar at all. I love sugar too. Crispy Kreme donuts yummy my favorite with some chocolate milk. I just took all my meds and it gets harder each day doing that. I think I will have my boyfriend go buy me some fresh fruits and veggies. Minus the citrus that is not allowed. I do have milk of magnesium and I will take some of that, Thanks for the tip. I don't have the oil you are talking about. I am wanting to get some salts for detoxing my feet, I want something that really works though. I know Dr. Kolb's office has a machine there, they say after you use it the toxin leave out of your feet? I will figure this out slowly I think. It is a shock to me period that I finally found out the truth. I hope to regain my health but I guess it will take some time. Thanks Rogene. Guest guest
Rogene, Amen to that about anger. That is so true, I know I have a lot built up in me and trying to just relax and heal. It's hard when you are put through pure hell and you feel like Dr.'s left you to die for so long. The mind is a powerful thing. I always said if we pray for our enemies its like dumping coal on there heads. If you hate your enemies all you have is hate. Pray for them and God will take care of you. Guest guest
, Dr. Kolb puts everyone on there own special protocol. It depends on you and each individual is different. She is the Dr. I don't know anything except I do feel somewhat better since surgery. Before the explant I was tired but more chronic fatigue I would say, now I think a lot is anesthesia, meds, etc. I would hate to give you my protocol and it not be right for you and make you sicker. Dr. Kolb suggestions to me were, don't worry about detox til after explant. Get them out of you, then she puts you on protocol to remove the toxins. It made sense to me so I listened to her she is the dr. and the only one in the past year and 4 months that really did something for me by the way. I hope this works for me and I am willing to do anything to get my health back. I just don't know if its a good idea to take all that stuff and then get surgery?? You could e-mail Dr. Kolb and I know she will return your e-mail. Good Luck and can't wait til you get the implants and toxins removed.
