Guest guest
, I'm glad to hear that no more documents have gone missing in the paperwork Bermuda triangle!! I hope the review is speedy, and you hear some good news. I think calling every day or so is a good tactic to keep your situation on the front burner with them. Let us know when you hear anything! Guest guest
My explant is finally scheduled for 13June060900 (DOT) I decided to skip the lift for now...just too many other things going on and besides $6,000 is a bit much especially if Dr. Kolb will do it for only $3,000. So I'm excited to actually be getting closer to the end of this road and starting on a new one. Geez, if only I could find my map! I use the term end, but in so many ways it is the beginning....The beginning of wonderful things to come! Christene

Guest guest
Christene, I am scheduled with Dr Kolb on June 14th...unless I need to bump it to July, which I don't think I will do. I want this behind me. We have to drive from Virginia. I know it is not the best timing for my husband and it in sandwiched inbetween high school graduations and college orientations for our children....but....oh well.... Maybe I'll see you there!!! > > > My explant is finally scheduled for 13June060900 (DOT) I decided to skip > the lift for now...just too many other things going on and besides > $6,000 is a bit much especially if Dr. Kolb will do it for only > $3,000. Guest guest
Christene, If you need a map to Dr. Kolb's office it is nice to print one off mapquest.com Just click on direction's and put in your address and Dr. Kolb's address and click on printable version. It was nice to have and very much needed for us when we went. Do you have your hotel yet? If not the one we stayed in was nice and like 3 minutes away. If you tell them you are there for medical it is $85 a night, that sounds high, but it is like a little apartment, kitchen, etc. I am excited for you. I used Dr. Kolb and you are going to be so happy when you meet her. She is so down to earth like a normal person, don't really act like most arrogant doctor's we are used to dealing with. I think she is just and angel from God, she really does care for her patients and it is amazing. She was the first Dr. I found that finally told me the truth, and that means a lot to me itself. I am so happy for you and can't wait til you get your surgery and health back someday. Good Luck and keep us posted. Donna
Guest guest
Sis, Can I ask you or anyone else did you get areola incision? I wanted to know how you all cared for your incision site after removal of stitches? I just want any tips on the best way to not have such a horrible scar? Dr. Kolb gave me instructions and I am going to follow that but just curious how bad the scar ends up, etc. Did anyone have to put tape over there incisions for 3 or 4 weeks? I wonder what this does, etc. I wish I had went back to Dr. Kolb for the stitches to be removed I would feel better about that. I was just wondering if anyone can reply feel free. Thanks!! Guest guest
Christene, This is great news!! Congratulations!!! See, it's all coming together for you. A few months ago, all seemed hopeless, but now the divorce is behind you, and the explant is right around the corner. Way to go, girl!! Guest guest
Donna, I didn't have an areola incision, mine were in the crease. Dr. Feng just told me to leave the tape alone until they fell off themselves, and it took about a month for them to completely fall off.
