Guest guest
Hi ! Thanks so much for sharing with us your speaking experience. I will pray that women will respond to you through this, and that many eyes will be opened to the dangers of breast implants! I know how difficult it is to admit that you may need disability. But follow your husband's lead. He is your "covering" in these times, and if it is God's will, the SSD benefits will be there for you. Keep in mind that from what I understand, this is a long process that can take quite a bit of effort to get. Some women have been successful in getting benefits through hiring an attorney. The government isn't going to make this easy for you, but then again, I may be wrong, but you may want to consider an attorney at some later point if things don't look like they are moving forward. In the end, I know you want to be able to go back to work and live a normal life again. Trust God for this, and be persistent in prayer. Never give up your hope for healing! It may take several years, but in the meantime while you are healing, those SSD benefits could be what you need. , you are a beautiful person and God is doing His work through you! God will complete His purposes in your life, I have no doubt about that. Trust Him with all your hopes and dreams--He is a loving Father and will accomplish miracles through a willing heart! With it being a holiday weekend also, I over did it and spent alot of time playing catch up in energy department. The three services went well, and my minister allowed me to state what made me sick. We couldn't go into anything more then stating the fact that I am sick and have been for over a year due to my saline breast implants. I mostly talked about what are my physical, spiritual, and emotional challenges that I face everyday. I am glad we got to state the cause of my illness, so people can see someone effected by them. I will be getting a DVD of the service so I can see how I did, I cant remember. I was so tired, it is amazing how much that takes out of you. I did the services on Saturday night, and two on Sunday. Thank you all for your prayers. I made it through because of them. Another note, my husband has made an appointment for us at the Social Security Administration for information on getting disability. He has been pushing me for quite some time now, I am having a hard time accepting this reality. I don't want to go through this. I wish I could just get back to work. The appointment isn't for a another week and a half. In the mean time I have to get things together for the appointment. I will be praying for God's will on this one. Guest guest
I am so glad that you got an opportunity to speak in front of your church about the saline implants. What courage that must have taken. I really admire you. Just think, maybe someone was in that audience that needed to hear you. God works in mysterious ways. Please don't be upset about filing for disability. Our government provides it for people in situation like yours and I feel we need to take advantage of that opportunity. It certainly doesn't mean that you will be permanently disabled. I know that emotionally this is hard for you to accept, but if it can help with your financial situation, and help your husband deal with the pressures he feels about them, it will be the right thing to do. When you are better, you will be grateful for what this provided. Big hugs and warmest thoughts to you. Guest guest
, I'm so glad things went well with the speech. In some way that you might never be aware of, you have helped someone in the audience. Either someone who has the same symptoms and has implants, or someone who was thinking about getting implants but didn't realize saline wasn't " safe " . One day you might run into someone on the street who will thank you for sharing your story and tell you how you might have saved them from the same horror we've been through. Best of luck with the Social Security. I know it's a tough pill to swallow but you aren't throwing in the towel - keep hold of that faith that you have, and one day you will be strong enough to pursue your dreams. You're not letting go of your dreams by reaching for the life preserver, you're just putting them on hold right now to help you stay afloat.
