Guest guest
Sherry That may be and you are entitled to your opinion. However, what can not be denied is that " in the face of negative information " related to silicone but more recently the saline implants, all the information is not " readily disclosed " to us " the consumer " . Most unaware consumers would not know which questions to ask because they are not aware of the situations discussed on this board and others. When a consumer buys a car, a car seat, tainted meat...etc.. and there are problems...the companies issue " recalls " . Why not the same process with these implants. Sherry, I personally find it unacceptable that any plastic surgeon who does " breast " does not know about cases like this and doesn't admit that it can compromise the health of woman. If it is true that they " do not know " ....then he has not kept up with the literature in his field, should not be board certified and should have his medical license suspended pending additional education. These implants are one of the money makers for them. How the heck can they not know? That is uninformed, uneducated denial of a critical component of his own medical specialty. AFter reading about the information and the testimony made available to the FDA I also do not understand how they could have approved their use. But then again, there is the VIOXX catastrophe as well as others in past history. Bottom line, we must be careful what the FDA says is safe. Their recent track record does not bode well for consumer trust. And if one agrees with that logic....then how the heck can they basically go against their hippocratic oath...which includes the words... " first...do no harm " . --- In , _00_ <5678@...> wrote: > > They are causing illness but they are not " killing " .... I know I have seen miracle's happen from God and I believe now that I am a walking miracle. Getting my implants out saved my life. Keep up the good work and faith Rogene. > > Hugs, > > Donna > > > Opinions expressed are NOT meant to take the place of advice given by licensed health care professionals.
