Premenapause wasn't likely since I was 29 going on 30 yrs old with regular periods previously. but Dr's thought maybe it was stress or malnutrition. They almost had me convinced. Since then I've had a lot of tests. My PS is Dr.Kolb also. I've had blood tests to check hormones and thyroid which were normal (waste of time and money) I've had an MSH test that was abnormal (low) and VST test that wan normal. I still wasn't satisfied with that, so I took a saliva test to check hormones and cortisol morning, noon, evening and night. All were low except testosterone was high and I was close to adrenal failure. I am on adrenal supplements and show some improvement. I don't need anymore convincing, I'm not going to waste anymore time, money, or most importantly my health just because of my own self denial. I'm going to make plans for explant in July. I'm just worried about recovery. Dr. kolb said she would use corticostiods during surgery for my adrenals but I am too scared to take drugs especially steriods. She said one time wouldn't hurt but I'll research it. Thanks for the links. Now I know where to start.
