Guest guest
Dear Everyone, I've been ever so grateful for being here again and reading all the posts as well as being welcome to post -- it's been very much a blessing. I appreciate the compassion and how all of you are so helpful and supportive. You're really so beautiful! And for me personally the input has been really helpful. This morning, because my eyes have really been bothering me I called my eye doctor -- I can usually get in quite fast because I have had glaucoma since I was about 40, 13 years now. I'd been taking my drops so didn't think that was the problem and found out it is not the cause of my blurring vision -- I have posterior subcapsular shagreen cataracts. I realized how senstivie I am to words like " subcapsular " (I used to hear that one a lot with " contracture " ) and " implants " -- what they use in your eyes to replace the lenses -- " there's no metals in them like in breast implants, Melinda, so don't worry. " but I do. Right now I don't know what will happen next -- I don't have a consult until mid-July. Anyway, with the Bell's Palsy and now this failing vision (though I'm am so grateful other ills have healed so much or become lessened) I won't be participating as much as I'd hoped with the group. I need to not stress my eyes. I feel sad about that too. I do enjoy reading the posts -- some wonderful things going on -- and will do so as I am able (or ask my daughter to). My daughter wants to do some research to see if there is any tie-in at all to the silicone/ saline issue and the Bell's Palsy (which after a year has not healed) and now the eyes. Maybe, maybe not. It's a big job to take on. She has said " This is just ridiculous Mama that you have had all these physical challenges which normally do not strike a woman your age now and when they have. I think it is from the implants, including the stress. " I'm lucky to have her, especially since near everyone else says " Oh gee, NOW what do you have wrong with you!? " Keep on keepin' on and God bless you! I wish great healing in all-ways for everyone here and those who are not but who are out there in the world on this same journey. Blessings, Melinda
Guest guest
Melinda, I hope you get this! There are settings for your computer that will enlarge the type along with everything else . . . I hope you can get your computer set up so it's comfortable to use! . . . I don't know how to set it up myself . . . but my hubby has my computer set up with really big stuff - because I like to sit back with my feet up when surfing, while he has his computers set with such tiny type I can't read without glasses. I pray you've reached out and are hanging onto God's hand! . . . He will get you through this! Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
--- Appreciation right back at ya!! This site has been a blessing for me, for sure. I get depressed and isolated some days and don't feel " part of " anything so I back off for awhile and then get back to fighting the " good fight " . Love, blessings & peace to you, Sunny In , " Melinda " <askydaughter@...> wrote: > > Dear Everyone, > > I've been ever so grateful for being here again and reading all the posts as well as being > welcome to post -- it's been very much a blessing. > > I appreciate the compassion and how all of you are so helpful and supportive.
