Guest guest
I asked if anyone had used these pads last week . . . Since then, I've tried some pads my massage therapist gave me to try. . . The results are interesting. When she tried them, the pads were black and very stinky. . . But her feet were not sticky! When I tried them (two times) the pads changed color somewhat and weren't what I'd call stinky - Not much more than the materials they were made from - I've been trying to detox for years, so that shouldn't be a surprise! BUT the skin under the pad (not under the adhesive) was incredibly sticky! Both times soap would not remove the goo . . I used alcohol and had to literally scub my feet repeatedly to get the goo off. Now I'm wondering is if this stuff was silicone gel? . .. . Have you ever gotten silicone adhesive on you? It felt just like it! The fact that my therapist (no implants) did not get anything sticky on her makes me wonder that much more! I'm going to order some pads and check this out further! . . . I did a search for " detox foot pads " and found at least five brands. The one I'm most inclined towards is the Acuped brand. They offer free testing for ten toxins with the purchase of a months supply - and they offer a sample purchase of six pads for six dollars. Anyone interested in testing these out with me? . . . I'm particularly interested in comparing women who have had silicone gel implants with those who have had saline implants. IF these pads are as good at detoxing as they claim, one could reduce the time for detoxing by months, if not years without ingesting any products that can cause a herx. Hopefully these will be beneficial for the kids too! Hugs to all - Rogene
