Hello Lea

Do you know Sherkston Ontario Lake Erie ?

My best friends daughter is coming to work out there next week (13th), its a holiday park and she is a singer. My friends will be visiting there later on in the summer and have asked our family to go, my husband who loves travel really wants to see Canada as do my children but I don't think I would be up to it. Is it anywhere near to you?

We really only need to find the air fare and spending money as our accommodation will be very cheap. I am very tempted but I think the flight will be about 8 hours, I am also terrified of flying, well I am terrified of everything these days one of the gifts Silicone has left me with, but half of me thinks I can sit around scared of everything and die that way or I can say blow it ,if it makes me ill at least I will have seen some of the world before I go.

I have not heard from Lea, privately or otherwise. I know that the whole scene with removing all her posts and her story was stressful and she was dealing with some kidney stones as well, so perhaps she is chillin' for awhile. I should write her... She emailed me and I responded.... It was a short email, but very sweet, as she

always is.

She briefly explained her 'silence'.

I hope she gets through all this stress. I feel so sorry for her, after all she

has gone

through.

Dear Lea,

My heart goes out to you, bless you Lea.

You are such a strong determined woman, the Lea we know and love will be back soon I no it. You have been through sooo very much and deserve to be happy and healthy, you will get there Lea.

In the mean time just remember we are thinking of you, I am sending my love and prayers across the pond to you.

I hope you are around on the group soon, it maybe selfish of me but I miss you when you are not around, I may not write very often but I am always lurking in the back ground somewhere I hate it when somebody with your strength, knowledge and commitment is hurting so badly.

If you have saline they are probably leaking. Good days you may be lucky and have a piece of your own body fat plugging the port. Dr. Kolb said, Lung problems if right implant is leaking, Heart palpitations if left implant is leaking. I had the saline and my implants were leaking, my right one was worse so I had the not being able to breath problem. However, I would get the heart palpitations, they blamed it to anxiety attacks, truth is my left implant was also leaking, but a piece of my body tissue had plugged the port pretty good for me, so every now and again I would get the heart palpitations, mostly if I layed on my left side while sleeping. There are so many others I have talked to that had the left side leaking, with the heart palpitations. I had all the test ran, most came back normal. I had EKG for heart, seds, mri on breast, thyroid, etc. Nothing. I went to Dr. Kolb and she took a simple blood test, MSH Test, It was a very low 8. She says this is the easiest test to find out if your saline implants are leaking, with bacteria, mold and fungi in them. Maybe you can e-mail her and ask her were to get this test at. I think its called lab corp, but most doctors will look at you weird when you ask for it. Do you have saline??????

I had my silicone implants removed years ago along with the capsules, I will admit though that I have been very poor at dettox.

Dear Lea,

you really are a sweet heart thank you sooo much for asking your doctor I am really grateful. I had to laugh at the irony of it your doctor in CANADA can give a diagnosis mine in England who I am in front of has not got a clue...you couldn't make it up.I had my thyroid checked a couple of months ago the results were 1.1 if I remember rightly, Lynda in our group said that it was normal so maybe its the other thing he mentioned (sorry cannot spell it).

Dear Sue:

My doctor called yesterday, and I asked him what would cause your night attacks. He said that it could be tachycardia or thyroid problems. He had done some thyroid testing on me, and he told me that my thyroid was very low. When I asked if it could cause the symptoms that you have described, he said yes. I know that I should not ask questions for you, but I just asked the question...not saying whether it was me or someone else.

I am sorry that your implants were destroyed, but so were mine. We were able to get some tissue from the hospital pathology lab work, plus I had my original files. I have to go to have some bloodwork done this morning, and I hate having to do this. I will write more later.

I wonder if your records were sent somewhere else? Perhaps you could ask the British armed forces if there is a likelihood of that. My original records were sent somewhere else, but I was able to track them down and obtain copies. If nothing else, perhaps the plastic surgeon--if you remember his name--would remember what he used. Mine did. I managed to get a letter from him in California where he had gone to spend his money and make more.

Lea My implants were silicone other than that I could not tell you anything else. The only thing I can say is when they were removed and given to me they both had R on them obviously a couple of spares....can you believe that?? I hate to think where they were stored and how !!!! I did not have anyone or anywhere to complain to as I had them put in at a military hospital that no longer exists.

Thank you for your reply I dont think it was too long I really need the information, I have been faffing around for far too long letting things get worse.I have not been tested for MGUS or H-poly in fact I have not been tested for much really, my Dr does not believe in the silicone thing, I tend not to talk to her about it anymore just go in there with different symptoms and see what she has to say. All of my blood work has always come back normal.
