Guest guest
Hi, Many small breasted women find that they do not need a lift, and that they fluff out after the implants have been removed. It can take 5-6 months for this process. If you did not sag before and you are fairly young still, I doubt you will need one. Guest guest
Well, I was HARDLY anything more than a nipple! I had 350 cc's in for 8 1/2 years! I went to Dr. Kolb for my explant, and pre-paid for a mastopexy. While in surgery, she realized that i didn't need it, so she didn't do it. Afterwards, I got my money refunded. A good dr. won't do anything that isn't necessary! I'd pre-pay. I'd rather be safe than sorry, but it wasn't need for me! (Age might have something to do with it, too, though. I got them when i was 19, got them out at 27). Hope that helps some! So considering these are not really large....do you think I really need a lift while explanting....? I am not a very tall woman...only 5' 2 " . I realize it is a personal choice but I wondered what others decided and why? About the lift that is.....
Guest guest
Well. I did not sag before but that was 12 years ago. I think I do have some sagging now...mainly because bras were uncomfortable and I have had a back ache under the right shoulder blade for almost 4 year now. .I never did get used to these d#* things!!! > > >Don't know if you guys can help with this question but thought I'd > >asked anyway. > >I found out today that my saline implants were Mentor 250's with the > >left one filled to 288 and the right one filled to 275. Guest guest
, It's pretty individual . . . Much depends on how elastic your tissue is . . . The older one gets, the less elastic their skin is. . . One more reason to get them out sooner rather than later! If you're like the rest of the ladies, once you get them out, you'll be so happy to be feeling better, the size or shape won't be important! Guest guest
Oh ..that is too funny !! I am a bit older now than you were when you had them out. I am 51. But it is good to know that Dr. Kolb won't do it if not necessary. > > > > Don't know if you guys can help with this question but thought I'd > > asked anyway. > > I found out today that my saline implants were Mentor 250's with the > > left one filled to 288 and the right one filled to 275. Guest guest
i there I am only 5'2" also... was a very small breasted woman before implanting in 1996 - a 34 AA. I alsp got 250CC implants that were overfilled. My doc did the same thing - during surgery to remove them in 2003 he didn't think I needed a lift so he didn't give me one and I look just fine. He also saved me thousands of $$$. I hope this helps!! thanks shari
Guest guest
Hi Shari... It does but you may be younger than me. Do you mind ...telling me which decade you are in? I hate to ask anyones age. I am 51. Still...I think my skin is in pretty good shape.... > > i there > > I am only 5'2 " also... was a very small breasted woman before implanting in > 1996 - a 34 AA. Guest guest
I had over filled 350's. I went from bearly an A to a full C. I even found some bras that fit that were D. I did not get a lift at the time of explant, Dr. Feng didnt believe I didn't need one. I am now pretty much the way I was before implant. I have gained some weight through this whole ordeal, so I can actually fit a full A cup. This was me. What you might want to question, is did you need a lift at the time of implant? Sometimes PS just put in implants to fill in stretched skin. I was not that case. I just went bigger. My implants were under the muscle and my skin didn't stretch out at all. sedwards41255 <sedwards41255@...> wrote: Don't know if you guys can help with this question but thought I'd asked anyway. Guest guest
As a person who was just explanted yesterday after having the implants in x7 years, I think the determining factor is how long have you had them in? > > Don't know if you guys can help with this question but thought I'd > asked anyway. > I found out today that my saline implants were Mentor 250's with the > left one filled to 288 and the right one filled to 275.
