Hi Dawn,

Welcome to ! . . . Your symptoms are only

too typical of other implanted women. The good news is

that you can get your life back. It will probably take

time, and a lot of discipline on your part . .. but

life can be good again!

If you've been lurking the past month, I don't need to

tell you how important having your implants removed

properly is! . . . It's possible that the doctor could

insert a needle and drain them first - but, to be sure

that nothing is spilled into your chest cavity, they

should be removed en bloc.

I would talk frankly to your doctor about your

symptoms! . . . He should take your situation much

more seriously if you do. Don't assume ANYTHING! . . .

get him put put in writing exactly what he will do. He

should also use drains. If you aren't 100% convinced

he will do the job right, you need to find another

doctor. I think Shari or Molly would recommend their

doctors. Molly is near Miami - Shari may be near

Tampa.

If your breasts were soft right after implant, chances

are that you have a BakerIII or IV contraction. . .

This could allow your insurance to cover explant. . .

If you're in northern Florida, I'd suggest contacting

Dr. Kolb . . . she knows the insurance routines and

will do a great job.

We can recommend a host of things to help you regain

your health . . . The Maker's Diet is a huge one! . .

.. Supplements to include Glutamine, N.A.C. and Lipoic

Acid . . . plus probiotics. Fungal Defense (one

bottle) followed by Primal Defense indefintely.

Chances are virtually 100% that you have a systemic

fungal problem. When it gets to probiotics, start slow

and gradually increase the dose so you don't herx too

badly.

Speaking of surgeons . . . One plastic surgeon told

me, to my face that he made money putting implants in,

and he made money taking them out. He said he didn't

give a damn what they did.

It's all about money to them! . . . Don't be fooled

into thinking that most of them are in any way

concerned about YOU!

Hugs and prayers,

Rogene

---Dawn, welcome, welcome! I am fairly new to the site - have have

saline outer/silicone inner implants for 20 yrs. Have been extremely

ill the last few years and only put it together last year, it was

from the implants. Because I am an au naturelle type of person, my

implants were something I regreted soon. I did the surgery for my ex-

husband. Being a sexual abuse survivor, I was vulnerable to

influence - had a bad body image and a whole whack of problems! I

don't blame him, as I can't do that anymore. We've been divorced. I

went through therapy and healing. Doing quite well now, emotionally -

but my body is a hurtin' unit, for sure!

The good news is that I am having them removed on July 26. I live in

Canada so I'm blessed with health care coverage for the operation. I

wish you U.S. ladies could benefit from that.

You are definitely on the right track, in my opinion. I have found

this site to be very loving and supportive. I hope you stick around!

Love & Healing to You,

Sunny :)
