Guest guest
I have to laugh at myself...I just read my own message and found 2 spelling errors! Oh, my word...brain fog IS setting in. Another thing I wanted to share is, this site puts a whole new meaning on the saying, " Laugh and the whole world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone " -- it's healing to cry and have someone to cry with. I have cried alone most of my life. Let's celebrate our emotions and get THROUGH our tough times -- not go around them, or try to hurdle over them. It just makes us sicker - physically, too. Love you all, Sunny
Guest guest
Sunny, I'm so glad you're here - and so wise! Thank you for always lifting my spirit! Love, Rogene
Guest guest
--- Rogene, thank you for the encouragement! You are also an inspiration to me, as this site is a welcome place. I'm sad that this back and forth with Sherry is taking up so much time. I think we all need to move on with supporting and loving one another...what do you think? I was supposed to go to bed early tonight, but I'm still babysitting at my son's house. They're at a counselling session trying to figure out their next move in life. Their move may affect me and my little cabin life. We'll see what happens. The finances have not been flowing in for his college 2nd year, so they're wondering if it's even God's will at this point. Anyhowz, love you lots and keep up the good fight! Guest guest
Sunny, Something that I've been able to get through to some young couples with is the idea that a long-term solution to a short-term problem is not a good solution. And, that when children are involved, a divorce goes on forever. It doesn't simplify anything. Everything gets more complicated, and the kids get caught in the middle. I'm not saying there aren't times when divorce isn't the best option . . . but it needs to be though through carefully. There's a book called " The History of Romantic Love " that really puts things in perspective. . . It's only been in modern times when we expect to be " in love " with our spouse all the time. Mostly thanks to TV and movies! Love, Rogene
Guest guest
--- Rogene, their marriage is strong, with life's challenges and tests along the way, especially with 2 special needs children. The counselling is for life direction, some spiritual work and for the family's next move - his continuing Bible College, where they should live, etc. Thanks for the message, though. It makes alot of sense.
