hi paula i am sorry you had to piss in a cup i would have felt bad about that to

pissing in a cup all of the mainepanegment places do it have you piss in a cup

How do you feel about your doctor drug testing you?

Hello everyone,

I went to the pain clinic to pick up my RX and the nurse handed me a

cup for a uring frug test. She was very nice as I was a bit off guard

as I never had to do this in the 6 or so months I have been there.

She explained that they randomly pick a day and everyone picking up

scrips that day gets one. I love the nurses as they all are great but

as I handed her my sample I sat down and I was holding back the

tears. I told her with all the hell I am going through it is bad

enough people think your a druggy and you miss out on so much going

on now you have to piss in a cup! I told her I felt humiliated and

ashamed that I was sick.

She said they have to do this by law to show they are being careful

and she said what they were testing is that I DID HAVE MY NARCOTICS

IN MY SYSTEM because so many people try an dget the rx and sell the

pills. I am sure they were also looking to be sure I did not have

other rx's there too as in doctor shopping.

I know it was not just me because there was this little old man must

have been late 70's in a wheelchair and he had to supply a sample as

well and he was NOT happy about it either.

I know they are just doing their job and they are very nice so I told

them I understood and went on my way...

How do you feel about it and why do I feel insulted when I have

nothing to hide?

Believe it or not- drug tests have a few good points.

I was able to find out that my pharmacy had been giving me pills that

were fakes by a random drug test by my pain dr.

I still think drug tests suck because it treats legit patients like

fiend drug seekers but at least I could find out that I really hadn't

had a 4 week flu just withdrawel.

I also found out that I was much stronger than I thought while my

pharmacy had been giving me dud meds.

I hope you sued the hell out of the pharmacy or at least switched. That really

sucks!

Nope- police and Dea aren't doing anything after I reported it and

lawyers won't sue because I didn't lose work or an organ. To them

fraud and pain and suffering isn't enough
