Guest guest
thanks Rogene - that was a very sweet email.... I will share it w/ . It is funny - I was alone the first time and awoke to my dog hovering over me licking my face on my bathroom flloor tile... I can't help but think she knew that something was wrong and was trying to help.... I have heard a lot of times about animals being able to sense things like this and help their owners. I may look into the alert devices as well - it may make him feel better. we have had a long talk with out son about what happened and what it looks like and what to do - to call 911 and he has s cell# memorized now. I also have several neighbors around us that we are very friendly with that are home a lot that he would be able to go get help from. That cat sounded awesome... what I wouldn't have given to have had that cat here last Sunday.... Would have saved me a massive head wound! My head still hurts terribly from where I hit it. the swelling has gone done considerably but it still hurts like it happened yesterday. I am lucky to have not split it open - I kid you not it was the size of a softball then sticking out the back of my head - it was huge! then the paramedics strapped me to a back board w/ a neckbrace and the board was right on the lump..... I felt every little pebble on that 30 minute drive to the hospital for sure!! The doc was even stumped that I didn't need stitches as swollen as it was - I still haven't a clue what I hit it on - I think it was just the floor or maybe the step up into my garden tub.... who knows. thanks again love shari

Guest guest
Shari I am convinced that dogs are angels in disguise. Sent here to help us learn to be more loving and compassionate! Who couldn't learn how to be a better human being by watching the loyalty, love, and forgiveness of a dog. I love my dogs sooooo much. They are the best things I ever spent money on. I just had to put my little smokey joe to sleep in february and I am STILL crying about it. He had truly been my best friend over the past six years--during my illness. He went on walks with me every single day on the trails, and we went for car rides -- with him riding shotgun!--every day also. If I even so much as sniffled or sighed like I was going to cry he was immediately there covering my tears with his face. Take good care of your precious dog!
