Guest guest
Hi! Honestly, I haven't seen much improvement...YET! BUT.. it's only been one month (exactly tomorrow). I have noticed some changes: My shakiness/ anxiety attacks are less severe My fogginess is starting to get better Certain foods that used to " trigger " reactions, aren't...or are less severe Other than that... everything has been the same! I'm sure it'll take a while b4 the major changes take place, but even YEARS is nothing in the long haul! I now have HOPE of a bright and active future! =) - On 6/17/06, karenw4359 <karenw4359@...> wrote: Ok...it's all a go..I can't wait. No more muscle relaxers everyday (hopefully) no more feeling like crap one day to the next. I swear I wake up and I hurt all over...it's bearable but I feel 87 not 47 ! My knees hurt..my lower back hurts,my neck gets stiff, I get headaches,my arms ache, my breast get pains in them and I feel FOGGY alot. I pray this will go away after explant. I know it may be slow but at least I will know I've done everthing to try and get better...Donna, ....how long did it take for you to start seeing some type of improvement ? Also how long before you girls that implanted did you have to stay out of work ? This is me (GMCLADY98) had to get a new acct to be able to get on this board. Guest guest
Good luck to you..how long did you have your implants ? Were they saline ? Did you have symptoms from the very beginning ? I can't sleep at night , my arms, hands, legs and feet burn. And they seem to feel swollen...I hope by waiting till Sept 7th I'm not doing more damage. But we have a vacation scheduled and I don't want to ruin it for my husband. Guest guest
, It definitely takes time for our bodies to recover, and one month post surgery you won't normally see drastic changes, the changes take place gradually over time. Jenna who sometimes posts here did see changes really quick, and within one month all her symptoms were gone - but it takes most of us time, diet changes, supplements. Guest guest
, Glad to see you posted. I haven't been feeling well either. Some pain in my chest. My thumbs and left knee still hurt and my left shoulder really hurts. I'm still very weak and have no energy. I tried to move a rug last week out from underneath some heavy boxes and ended up really irrating my left scar. Made the top of the scar turn almost a blood red. Dr. Kolb said it should be okay. It's still a little swollen so I won't be doing that again. Oh, my God, Tom just about ripped a gasket he was so furious at me!!!! I'm disappointed somewhat. I thought I would have more energy by now since it's been 6 weeks post op for me. So I'm trying not to take the darvcet and using arnica instead. Plus I'm sticking to the maker's diet. One thing I have noticed. I think with all the detox products that Dr. Kolb has me on it's really speeding up the detox process. I've been feeling really green more often so I've figured out that I need to do more coffee enemas at least three times a week to get rid of toxins quicker. When I do I feel much better. Do you like the smoothies??? I think of you and pray for you often. Love, Penni Re: Made appt with Kolb and got motel reservations ! ,It definitely takes time for our bodies to recover, and one month post surgery you won't normally see drastic changes, the changes take place gradually over time. Guest guest
Allyson, Congradulations on getting scheduled! . . . You'll be getting your life back soon! Please don't stress over the surgery. . . It's usually far easier than implant - you'll be up and about in no time . . . I've heard of some women going mall shopping the NEXT day! Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
Hi Allyson, We will be thinking of you on the 30th!. I decided on Dr. Kolb. I had a couple of other conversations with Dr. S....and really did not feel he thinks implants can cause some of the issues I am having. Whether they are or aren't...getting them out can only help the situation. Don't cancel Allyson....just move forward. Even if you are not having symptons now ( aside from your thyroid) ...the risk to too great for symptons in the future. Plus, you will be getting married and having children and I know you don't want these in you at that time....!!! Hugs to you, > > Hello Ladies, > I have my explant sceduled with Dr. Kolb on June 3oth. Guest guest
I'm 7 months post op and some things have improved, others are more stubborn. It only took a few months for me to get sick but it'll probably take years to get well. I know the implants did this, though, I didn't expect a miracle cure as soon as I removed them, but of course that would have been lovely! Sis > > Penni I'm sorry to hear you are still not feeling well,,,,,I've been > thinking of you a lot . What has Dr Kolb said about all this ? Is she the one that > told you about coffee enemas ? I'll be real upset if I don't improve after > explant, I have a job I have to go to also and it's getting harder all the time. > God Bless You KAREN >
