Guest guest
Hi, I use netti pot salt that I buy at the health food store. It is free of impurities. It burns me less than other salts. Also, my Ayurvedic Remedies book says just to tilt the head side to side. They say not to try to get the solution up into the upper part of the sinuses to avoid spreading infection. I'm not sure how that applies to people with fungus in their upper sinuses. Jocelyn -this sounds very interesting, i use canning salt and distilled water to wash my sinuses, it helps a lot but i need something more. the innfectious disease doctors said yes, this is just the same as useing saline. how ever it is so painful to do and i often have to lean way back and get it way up in there, my eyes water and it burns big time. i'm going to check into this, thanks for posting about it.-- In , Edy Rayfield <edyrayfield@...> wrote: >
Guest guest
Have you thought about that maybe you could use an antifungal spray as well. My doc has me on Nizarol spray that he makes up himself in twice distilled water. I have a feeling mine is more bacterial, but I have had some improvement after only being on it less than a month. Guest guest
-hi,atthe mayo clinic they told me todo it that way, one side at a tie as long as i could stand it than set up and blow it out. however i dont do it this way every time just because its very painful. and one time it made my ear hurt.but when i fell a severe sinus headacke comming on, sometimes this will help before it gets really bad, other times i just squirt it up in there and let it run back out, kind of like how the neti pot works. you can also just stand over the sink and squirt it up in there and its kindof like a pressure washing, i do this more often. -- In , " Jocelyn Brown " <brownje@...> wrote: > > Hi, > I use netti pot salt that I buy at the health food store.
