Guest guest
--I am a little younger and developed asthma and copd 2 years ago after severe mold exposure are the ac unit--an extremely freak situation. I am a non smoker but I do live here in the tobacco capital of the US--Richmond. I am also trying the cave man diet and have begun to take a genentech drug called xolair to stop the allergic response to ige mediated sensitivities to things like fungus. of note, my xray is full of calcifications which denote exposure to fungus and mold. I must say, Thank you old house. Soon I will sell you and watch a video of your destruction as a new house goes up properly. I think I deserve that little bit of fun. I agree that never having asthma in my life, only common hayfever, that it is interesting that the Mayo Clinic and a pulmounlgoist both told me that I now have asthma. They said this has been coming on for a long time. (?) I have never smoked or been around any dirty air. I have always been very active with no problem breathing for 56years. They keep looking for another cause. I too had no help with the inhalers mentioned below. So I quit. It occured to me that the fungus that still inhabits my body is the reason my lungs are still being iritated causing my immune system to go into over drive. It is probably also the reason my digestive tract is not right. I have bloating and yeast like symptoms. So I thought I would try someting else. Just like the medicine they gave me for allergies which didn't work I was going to find another way. For my nose and throat I use Hydgronperoxide. Just read the lable. Internally I am trying the strick " cave man diet " with a vitamin suppliment. This includes Kyolic Garlic supplement. This help showes up in a book titled Nutritional Healing by Phillis A Balch, CNC. According to the book Garlic nurtalizes Fungus. As I have read here in the past some of you have talked about a die-off. This is why I probably feel like I have the flu, with out the tempture though. I have been doing this for 5 days, we will see. Guest guest
Jane They keep telling me I have develped asthma, but I don't have the attacks that are chartrized by asthma. I have difficulty hiking or riding my mountain bike. It is like I am not getting enough oxygen. I am thinking COPD. Any way, I will see my Pulmoligest next week and have a lot of questions. Hope to finally get the proper tests like the Ige. I will ask about the xolair drug. I was in a rental house for a year with air borne stacky and other molds including one that I am allergic to, alternia. I guess I have a hard time when people call me a nut case when I know that I suffered in a way I never have and it was not a classical allergy responce. Thanks for writting.
