Guest guest
After so much effort to avoid humidity, now winter has humidity down to 20% so cracking lips, flying hair, electrocuting everyone with my touch, dry skin, etc., etc. At home, I had central humidifier and all I needed to do with turn up the dial but no such thing at this apartment, so any suggestions on how to humidify or deal with the low humidity? I considered lots of moisturizer, lipstick, drinking more fluids. Will that work enough so I don't *hurt people when I touch them and myself? ...my poor pet is avoiding me and his coat is standing up too! I have had an evaporative humidifier that I used in my bedroom at home for 'extra humidity!', before mold illness, but that gets moldy very fast. It is similar to this one: <http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5131255> This type looks good. It says it has features to hold down bacteria: <http://tinyurl.com/y53rg4> Anyone have any experience with that type or other tips to handle the low humidity in winter without encouraging mold growth?
