Suggestions for sleep medication

Hello,

Hope everyone is having a good holiday season so far. My husband, son, and, I

are moving out to the Bay area later this week. My son is 7 years old and has

autism. He was very scared last time we were on a plane so we were looking for

a sleep medication to help him sleep through the flight. After consulting our

doctor we've tried a couple of different doses of Ativan but this doesn't seem

to work for him.

Does anyone have any suggestions for sleep medication that have worked for you?

Ideally we'd like to give this to him at the airport prior to boarding so he is

asleep just after we get on board the plane. We have a call scheduled with our

doctor tomorrow afternoon and any suggestions you have are appreciated.
