Guest guest
For those who remember me, I had the crawlspace makeover last Jan. where air handler/ducts, insulation, wood ETC. was contaminated with mold. Pics are on photos here and Rhonda should be on the pics. I had the insulation taken out and air handler and ducts and mold remediation company remediated then I had the crawlspace encapsulated dirt and walls and industrial dehumidifier and sump pump by Regional Waterproofing then a new air handler and ducts put in. The encapsulation totally seals off vents which just creates more humidity in crawlspaces. It is 20mil polyethylene and white. Then inside washed everything I kept, hepa vacuumed tons of stuff and covered mattresses and wiped things down and threw out tons of things. Last checked in 2005 I had one brain lesion and had tons of symptoms where I got some releif from then got slammed more with toxins and here I am trying to get away from mold before it does more to my health. I wish I had started on 4 CSM's and not the 2 my doc prescribed. But breathing the myco's while taking CSM isn't going to help much. Been a while since I've been here but it took a month for my application to be reviewed by State Medical Board and then I get a letter asking for a complete evaluation from a psychiatrist which pissed me off but I hear that is common. Now I have to wait until Jan. 9th for my appointment and have it with a neuropsychological center. Been told by others it can take 4-6 hours. They have let me keep working while waiting for approval which isn't doing me good b/c the work place is contaminated with mold and abestos and they have made attempts to remove it but didn't do in under containment and just turned the hvac off and used bleach on some areas and then painted over it. Wrapped some kind of foil looking stuff around the abestos. The hvac is contaminated here also and if the system is shut off and on reaks a horrible musty smell. They won't admit that the hvac is contaminated but they know I know. Now that my home has been remdiated and all the work I did inside trying to decontaminate, I walk into work and within minutes get the pins/needles/shocking, the cytokines attacking. I'm taking 4 packs of CSM daily but have new symptoms that started in June with horrible pain/pressure in back of head. Doc called it occipital neurolgia and gave me shots in back of head/neck but there are still painful spots back there. They called these nerve blocks and that hurt. It's inflammation/swelling of nerves. I have chronic fatigue and numbness and just have been bad off lately. I tried wearing a N95 mask this week and that sucked and anytime I needed a drink or eat had to take it off. Getting another MRI tonight to see if anymore brain lesions ETC. I react horrible to weather fronts and seems to just get worse. I wish they would make a smaller n95 mask. After being out of work place over night and with CSM, I have no pins/needles but I do have the L'Hermittees shock on neck which is consistant with having lesions. My neuro said he thought my symptoms are from mold but he can't tie in the lesion which I find ignorant. Enviro doc gets it but sure had my medical records messed up and told me over and over he suggest I see Dr. Shoe which I cannot afford. If Dr. Shoemaker uses the diagnoses of toxic encephalopathy for lesions on brain, how does this look on an MRI any different from other white matter. If I get denied after waiting this long and getting more health damage, I'm going to fall over. I can't spend 5 more years in here waiting for retirement. I'm out of all leave and late or not here most the time. It's hard to believe a whole year has gone by come Jan. that I had the crawlspace makeover and thanks to this group got a lot of great advice!
