Guest guest
The best supplement to improve NO metabolism is, I am pretty sure, the amino acid arginine. Arginine is available in every health food store. (Its one of the main ingredients in many workout supplements because it has all sorts of positive effects on the cardiovascular system) Its also cheap. From what i have read, it does all sorts of good things. I don't think that any doctor would argue with that. The only people who should avoid arginine are people with latent herpes because it can activate the virus. (although this might be able to be counteracted with lysine, because its the arginine/lysine ratio that matters) Dr. Shoemaker also recommends creatine for mold victims, to improve the oxygen carrying capacity of the blood. Guest guest
i took L-arginine for awhile for bladder spasticity--per my urologist. don't know if this is the same thing, though. victoria Re: [] heres 2 articles on nitric oxide and health effects::reply:: The best supplement to improve NO metabolism is, I am pretty sure, the amino acid arginine. Guest guest
You can increase the oxygen content of blood better by green juicing. You feel the affects quit clearly and quickly. You think more clearly, feel more alert but you must fresh juice the greens. You can eat them of course but you'd need to eat more than most people could hold. I think vitamins, minerals and amino acids and fatty acids work synergistically with each other and taking individual supplements frequently upsets the natural balance of things, so I'm not for taking individual supplements. I haven't found them to work well. Sometimes they work in the very short run but over time they quit working because the imbalance they can creat off sets their benefits and causes other nutrients to be deficient. Better to eat foods high in the nutrient you are seeking. For amino acids, rather than taking *one*, eating sufficient amount of high quality protein. That will work out better. --- In , LiveSimply <quackadillian@...> wrote: > > The best supplement to improve NO metabolism is, I am pretty sure, the amino > acid arginine. > > Arginine is available in every health food store.
