Guest guest
Good for you! That is the way to go with good doctors. They are scientists, you need to show them evidence. Once you have shown them the reasons why you are sick, they will probably be amazed that you are as well as you are, instead of skeptical that you aren't even sick. If they don't look at things like mold test results, then they are hopeless. Don't waste your time or money on them. I think that is the way it really should be for a lot of us. Guest guest
I found that the retina specialist I was sent to understood all about mold-they must learn all about toxins that can effect the eyes-he knew all about the VCS test also. --- In , " who " <jeaninem660@...> wrote: > > this ex va infectious disease doctor is going to have my cataracts > tested. > my mom and little sis took me. i did some research on this doc. and was > hopeing i found some help. well, without going into a lot of detail, my > mom came into the room with me and went away with new insight. still > aways to go but a beginning. i think my family now understands that > this is more than just a few allergies to mold, and that theres a good > reason why i dont come to visit. and that yes, they should of tried to > listen to me more when i tried repeatedly to explain what was going on > with me instead of just assumeing it was all allergies and that > diagnoses of pstd affecting my brain. understanding the physological > stress effects helped with that. even though the waiting room had its > effects on my thinking, i was so greatful for this doctors patients and > helping my mom understand some things. i was amazed that he spent about > 4 hours with me. so, dont give up people, there are some good doctors > out there. > i will also have the spect scan done.some blood tests, ect. he verified > that yes,i'm very sensative. have balance problems ect. he brought up > mycotoxins used in warfare. and i'm sure he has dealt with gws when he > was at va hospital. no,not dr. shoemaker or one of the other experts, > but chances of misdiagnoses are less and maybe this will help my lawyer > understand more about this illness. still not giveing up on hopes to > someday make it to a expert and haveing one testify in my case but i'm > pretty proud of myself and my research has helped me find a doctor. i > was deturmined not to go to another doctor that would treat me like i > was crazy and i let him know pretty quick that if he thought along > those lines that we were waisting both of ours time. my research helped > to talk to him more on his level and it helped even though at the same > time i was suffering some thought process, it still help. don't give up. >
