Guest guest
I located the mold in my travel trailer that made me so sick for so long. It covers the entire underbelly of the trailer, somehow it grew underneath a vinyl sticker they covered the entire wood floor with to protect it from probably just this very thing. Very defiantly moisture and the resulting mold. Seems the sticker holds in the moisture and made the perfect environment for mold even though it never got wet underneath the trailer. Growing under there as if someone had sprayed it on with a paint gun and put the sticker on top. I think it's likely my trailer isn't the only one with this problem. Anybody who knows anyone with a travel trailer should tell them to scrape a portion of the sticker away and see if their trailer has this same defect. I have heard from a reputable source that it's a big problem with trailers that used this type of building method. Here is a picture of my floor (underbelly) and what to look for: (500k) http://geocities.com/antares40_40/trailer.html
