NEWS 25 Follow Up: 1.5 Million Dollars To Repair Complex

EVANSVILLE - Dozens of residents tell NEWS 25 tales of unsafe living

conditions at Stonehedge Apartments. They showed our cameras mold,

water damage and dangerous decks.

In our last report, Stonehedge Management escorted NEWS 25 off the

property. But Jo Ann , a Stonehedge tenant said she would be

willing to take our camera to show us the problems she says still

remain.

After seeing the video ourselves, NEWS 25 went back to the building

commission for answers. Building inspector Dave Bellow tells us the

city did a thorough investigation of the property. He says the

complex owners so far have told the commission they will repair the

problems.

City officials tell NEWS 25 if people who live at Stonehedge think

they've missed any problems in their investigation call the building

commission.
