Cello - was Re: My birthday presents - me too!

A couple of years ago, my husband was working at a local high school

setting up a recording studio. He took my 2 older kids with him.

The kids in band and orchestra liked my daughter and showed her the

different instruments they play. She fell in love with the cello.

After about 9 months of begging me, we went ahead and rented her one

and found a private teacher. She has now been playing for about a

year but according to what we see other cello students playing, she

is about the 3rd year level. Last May she did a performance and just

today I got another comment from someone that saw it and was touched

by it. It is moments like this that evens out the hard times. She

is now starting to attend the worship team meetings at our church so

she can start performing during church services. What an incredible

opportunity!
