Guest guest
Rhonda, I think you may be misinterpeting your doctor. I tip my hat off to any doctor that admits that they don't know enough about a condition and suggests (and in your case, repeatedly) to go see a doctor that is very familiar with diagnosing and treating. As far as him trying to cover his butt, maybe. But it sounds like he is trying to cover yours. What it really sounds like is that you are putting down a doctor that is trying to help you. Something you rarely ever see. That's great he gives you the CSM, but that is only part of a protocol treatment and as long as you are being re-exposed it will only work to a lesser degree, to fully work you must be out of the toxic environment. As far as Dr.Shoemaker not treating you because you are still being exposed, that line of thought goes for ALL the doctors that have been dealing with this issue. It is really a waste of your time, money and their time to try to get you better when every time you enter the buiding you get re-exposed. Kind of defeats the purpose. Guest guest
Rhonda, please listen to what your body is screaming to you. it sounds like your getting to a bad point were you may have a hard time recovering. I hope not but it sounds like it. I know it's hard to give up a job but your health is so much more important. I was makeing top scale when I just couldn't make it to work anymore and like you, I pushed it to the last minute. only difference is that I had no clue what was happening to me. we work hard and pay taxes, if we have to get welfare thats what its there for. you can get help to pay your bills and food. we have to do what we have to do to servive.let them fire you and draw unemployment. you've got to get out of there. > > > > Lasted less than 10 minutes and he said the form would be the same > > just different date which I know this and he said I'm going thru > > those loop holes where the system tries to get you to give up. Guest guest
Rhonda, KC--I totally have to agree with KC on this. My doctor told me the same thing. As long as I stay in the toxic environment, I will not get better that the symptoms will lighten up a little. Believe me, I am trying to find a safe home, but am having difficutly doing so even filling out housing emergency applications due to my health. They want the present landlord to say the apartment I am living in is not safe, he is not going to do that. That would be admitting that my experts were right all the time, and he wasn't. Best to you Rhonda. Darlene tigerpaw2c <tigerpaw2c@...> wrote: Rhonda, I think you may be misinterpeting your doctor. Guest guest
KC, I agree with your post 100% but think Dr Shoemaker would treat patient but would warn them that treatment will not heal them, but may just help them from getting much worse, if they are still being exposed. --- In , " tigerpaw2c " <tigerpaw2c@...> wrote: > > Rhonda, > > I think you may be misinterpeting your doctor. Guest guest
My doctor is at that point with me as well. I stay in one room with 2 filters going but you all say even the 500 to 600 dollar air filters don't do much good. when I leave the filtered area, I smell mold really bad. Guest guest
Just reading messages today and I have known I need to get out of toxic workplace ASAP but I have bills and these doctors even tho they get 80% from insurance want their 20% within two payments OR right then. My credit is perfect and I do not want it bad. One thing that I can do Once my salary is lowered from retirement disability is my house payment is based on income so if lowered, my payment will be lowered and my salary will be lowered near $10,000. I will drive less so cuts on gasoline bill and wear on my car that has near 100,000 miles on it so another will be needed in future. It is the less pay now from no leave left that will make it hard to pay bills and I can't lower my house bill until getting the disability and showing proof. I'm not sure I will even try the social security disability b/c I'm exhausted from all this. I've missed most of January already and I doubt the HR people will let me use shared leave if donated to me before the date of getting the FMLA updated sheet. I know my doc wants to help me and knows I've been exposed for a long time with some permanent damage. But when I've told him over 20 times I can't afford Dr. S, why keep saying it. There is no way I can b/c Dr. S won't take payments and overcharges are NOT written off out of state b/c I've checked. I may continue to stay out until approved and if they deny, I will probably collapse. My dad ask me to drive to his place today so he could have my oil changed and then my mom dragged me out to the mall even tho I told her my energy was low and not feeling so great. Guess she figures she is in her 70's and can walk 5 laps around the mall where her and my dad do their exercising so she had me walk. I needed the exercise but my gosh, the smells in those malls about knocked me over. Malls have no clue about people allergic or with MCS ETC. and there is one store out there that must just spritz out perfume all day long. You walk by it and it will knock you over. My sis said my young nephew always gets a headache after passing by that store then gets irritable, duh! He probably already has MCS and she also washes clothes in that stinkiing Gain I told her she shouldn't use that chemical on her clothes. I did get some hits from something today but the pins/needles were light compared to the torture at work and I took my CSM. I can feel it some just by getting into my cross-contaminated car. Well, another front is coming that may bring some ice and I've never seen so many fronts in my life. Will call and see if HR guy got the FMLA form yet Thursday and I hope he did and has the shared leave in action. State Medical Bd only reviews application once a week on Tuesdays so if this goes into Feb., not good. I really think I'm wasting $$ seeing a neuro not educated in toxicology and going to ask the neurophycologial doc if he can recommend one. I still would like to know if the almost blacking out feeling is strokes or seizures or What?? And my mom today said you probably have neurologia and I said Mold toxins can do neuro damage and she said " If that is what is causing it " Will they ever get it. I've had mold in MY FACE at work and home for over 25 years and who knows where else including their house. As far as waiting too long, think it has happened but will not know if I can recover until out of that toxic work place forever. I had gotten better and in Fall 2005 the toxin overload slammed me with toxins thru my toxic home heat and 2 airscrubbers in my house during remediation and I stayed in house (stupid!!!!) and then at work things got worse and stirred up. You can believe I will be fighting this and not giving up. Rhonda > > Rhonda > I stayed in amoldy basement and did for eight years. I was pulling in 50,000 > a year. I waited too long. Guest guest
For $500 you can get a house that includs all utilities and TV in the bubbling metropolis of TorC, NM-for $375 an apt w/everything-tell that guy in his car to start driving. There are also free movies on Thursday night. > > > > My doctor is at that point with me as well.
