Although....a little birdie told me that several members of both organizations are quite upset with their governing bodies!!! Sharon
Guest guest
Thank you Sharon for letting us know that! We all know that its inevitable, but the question is really just when. If idiots like me can put two and two together and make good guesses about what things in their position statements especially need to change (the oft-repeated assumptions that mycotoxins inhaled or absorbed are not sufficent enough to cause health effects!) then you know that their leadership probably knows much more - but SOMETHING is blocking them. My guess is that its backstage threats or politics. Not science. Nothing else would explain the FEAR of retribution.. Everyone please lets all try to put our heads together and figure out how to get some more light shed onto this mess.. Changes in the policies will make it possible to get organizations, etc. to change and eventually, hopefully make subjecting people to the kinds of nightmares we all have been through something that they will hesitate to do.. because they will face a much higher chance of punishment. Guest guest
One thought.. " health effects " as measure in caged animals are things like them getting cancer or dying or very clear, ultra-visible things. But the lives of humans 'in the wild' and / or animals 'in the wild' are very much different for the OBVIOUS reason that we must survive in a not very hospitable world by our own wits. That means (unless you are independently wealthy) you need to be able to work and for most of us that work is sufficiently complicated that machines can't do it or they WOULD be doing it. So what might seem to a researcher to be a subtle effect in animals which they would find VERY hard to quantify (like losing your short term memory or being incredibly fatigued) BECAUSE ANIMALS CAN'T TALK.. can end up ruining a person's life because THEY CAN'T FUNCTION IN OUR MODERN COMPETITIVE WORLD AT THE LEVEL THEY NEED TO. But because these 'scientists' perhaps CHOOSE to gloss over this fact, the studies intentionally fail to find the important connection.. Guest guest
Live, Im betting thier despertly trying to fiqure out what to do now. think of all those mold cases that were lost because of the ACOEM mold statement. yesterday was a emotional day for me as I'm sure it was for others that have known what problems the ACOEM mold statememt has caused for years while we all have suffered and not been able to get proper medical help among other things. what a great day it was to have the truth finally brought out. if I could have tolerated drinking alcohol, I would of had a drink to celabrate.lol's. but now I am back to being very angry about what I have suffered through all these years that no matter how I look at it the ACOEM mold statement played a very big part in. not only in cases being lost which in turn caused lawyers to shy away from takeing these cases, because all the effects of mold/mycotoxin exposure not being reconized and/or costs envolved just to get the proof, than risking that it may not even be admitted into court.lack of public knowledge, not to mention all the doctors out there who may of actually had some wondering about thier patients and thier symptoms but couldn't or wouldn't go there because of pressure and/or lack of info. I am angry that my life was not as important as money which is what it all boils down to. I'm even more angry that my children and grandchildren were exposed and thier health put at risk. I'm angry that I have lost friends because of lack of knowledge to the public on the effects i have suffered, and hurt fellings between family members because they didn't understand. > > > > > > In a message dated 1/10/2007 1:33:33 P.M.
