Guest guest
Rhonda, I wish you the best of luck with your appointment. Not sure if you are aware but this issue has been discussed recently, just within the last week. If you come to the board and click on messages you can stroll back to see previous discussions. I don't think it would be necessary for you to bring your records from other physicians for a psy. eval. He should be determining the final results on his own evaluation, not everyone elses. So you don't get stressed out by not coming to the board, you/I can change your email delivery to daily digest or individual emails. This way it is delivered directly to you, so everyone can benefit to the responses to your questions and not just a single individual. We all benefit by brainstorming and discussing between each other our personal experience(s). Guest guest
This is a very real concern, these sudden bouts of intense fatigue. I get them too now. I have to lie down. I wonder how many car accidents are caused by mold? Your doctor may be required to notify the DMV so they can pull your drivers license(s). (if you have one or more) This is a hot button issue as many older people are on the road who pass out and then they kill people and juries are reluctant to prosecute or awarddamages against them because they were old and 'just sick'. A few years ago an older man fell asleep at the wheel and plowed into a crowded mall in Southern California. I think he killed 11 people. Guest guest
HI ALL--A COUPLE MONTHS AGO, A FRIEND FROM MY TOWN BROUGHT ME A CASE OF " GOJI JUICE. " HE CLAIMED IT WOULD HELP MY HEALTH CONSIDERABLY, & SO I STARTED TO TAKE IT. WHILE I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS HELPING A LITTLE BIT WITH THE FATIGUE, ETC., I DIDN'T WANT TO SPEND THE MONEY FOR ANOTHER CASE ($140). SO.....TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, I WENT OFF THE GOJI FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS, ONLY TO FIND MY ENERGY LEVEL GO DOWN TO ABOUT 20% OF WHAT IT WAS. I RESTARTED TAKING IT..... & I'M FEELING SOOOOOO MUCH BETTER!! NO, I DON'T SELL OR HAVE ANY STOCK IN THIS COMPANY. I'M ONLY TELLING MY EXPERIENCES, IN THE HOPE THAT SOMEONE ELSE MIGHT FIND THIS PRODUCT BENEFICIAL. I WAS A NURSE, & I'M TOTALLY DISABLED NOW, & NOT WORKING--BUT AM STILL A NURSE AT HEART!! LOVE & GOD BLESS YOU ALL! VICTORIA [] Re: been a while and need advice Rhonda, I wish you the best of luck with your appointment. Guest guest
, If it helping you to feel better, continue, but I will post Ralph Moss's comments on GOJI juice, about which he describes himself as a friendly skeptic of, and says green tea should have as much antioxidants, if that is the agent, for much less money. Ralph Moss is a researcher of alternative therapies for cancer patients, so he looking for it's ability to help cancer patients, so may do well for people with neurotoxic injury or CFS patients: <http://chetday.com/gojijuice.htm> http://chetday.com/gojijuice.htm > > THANKS VICTORIA, I'VE BEEN WONDERING IF IT HELPS, BUT GEE, IT'S TO > EXPENCIVE FOR ME. ;( --- In
Guest guest
I hope they don't take my license away. I haven't actually blacked out but have felt it more lately and the weather fronts aggrevate me so much. I'm not sure if I'm having TIA's or not and not even sure how docs can tell or if a SPECT scan will show that. I had another brain MRI but they did it without contrast and not sure why. They said nothing changed. And I thought they would do one of my neck/spine since I had all the trouble with back of neck nerves with pain/pressure. They did give me nerve block shots but help a little. I get so much pressure on my face and eyes along with back of neck and it makes me so sick. I think the low pressure must affect those nerves and if they are swollen and inflammed, the pressure makes it worse. We have front after front and never stops around here. My fatigue is back so bad it's hard for me to get things accomplished around my house or get up out of bed. My next paycheck will be docked 48hrs. I'm trying to figure out how to not go back while waiting for approval and be able to pay bills. If I don't get approved, not sure what I will do. I get tremors so bad now when exposed to mold and I can't write when that happens. I had to get a teller at the bank Friday to write out information for depositing money b/c I was shaking so bad after going to work. Then I found mold on the inside of my storm door today and it is in small cracks too and I used white vinegar and qtips and tried to clean it and it will just come back b/c not a tight fit door and moisture gets in. I just freaked when I saw mold. I can't get away from the crap. It was black and no telling which mold it is. Same mold was all over that door back when I had the remediation and I cleaned up everything around here. I also had a reaction at my mom's Christmas Eve in her den and had the tremors/pins/needles and ask her about it and she said maybe mold is in their attic and things are stored up there they brought down for Christmas. I can't get away from it. My dad once said his hvac probably has mold. I may have been poisoned my whole life. At 12 a penicillin shot about killed me then I was saved just to be poisoned a slow torture. It is getting where I don't even want to leave my house but then I find it still around my house and I never looked in my attic b/c I don't have a pull down ladder and scared to look. Guest guest
Rhonda So sorry you are going thru such a bad time, after all the work you had done to clean your house-those of us that have had major exposures seem to have to be vigilant for the rest of our lives-hope you are taking cholestrymine- up to 5-6 doses a day untill you get your reactivity down alittle. I have had numerouse black outs from mold- it can be very scarry-I now carry an epi-pen- and instruct all my close friends in its use. Very bad pain in the back of the neck is something alot of mold sufferers have- a swollen lymph node at the base of the skull seems to be the culprit-even my dog got one when we lived in the moldy house for 10 years. Not being a doc, but recognising your symptoms- I would say avoidence and CSM will help allot more than nerve blocking shots and further expensive tests- the only tests that show mold damage are the " Shoemaker " tests anyway . I do recommend sleeping outside and avoiding all inside spaces as much as possible untill you are feeling better. I know this is difficult- but it has saved me twice in the past year- a long extension cord and a heating blanket inside a sleeping bag and you are set to go. When I slept outside last spring, I had cross contaminated so many things ,that I slept with only one cheap thin blanket- and froze my but off for 2 months- but I got better. Good Luck > > I hope they don't take my license away. I haven't actually blacked > out but have felt it more lately and the weather fronts aggrevate me > so much. Guest guest
I am very gratfully sleeping inside an apt for the last 2 months-Once I slept on a friends deck, for almost 4 months I slept in a field in back of a friend house, and used her house to prepare food-then ate outside- used the Y, kept clothes, ect in my car-gradually I could spend more time in her house-more recently-I just slept in the backyard of the new mold house I bought-in my trusty tent-useing the house for necessities, untill I got the tenent in the apt out so I could try that-I only recommend bottoming out from mold in the spring-so you have all summer and fall to recover-LOL -- In , " barb1283 " <barb1283@...> wrote: > > , when you sleep outside, where do you do other things, like > cook, eat, bath, dress...clothes are in car??...or do you have an > apartment or home but just sleep outside?? > > > > >
