Guest guest
quite common to gain weight from mold exposure alone- read " Mold Warriors " about Leptin receptor damage- and then drop it when your immune system fails- no steroids required- one way I can now tell when I am exposed to mold is cravings for milkshakes and overeating. Strange. When I was loosing so much weight, 2 Drs in one week told me to try not to loose any more weight ,by any mean-I tried to eat-but promptly lost another 5 lbs that week-perhaps the rapid weight loss contributed to the de-mineralization of my teeth-and all the teeth problems I have been having since then When I was at my sickest- every person who saw me would say I looked > fantastic-it was because after bloating up 75 lbs after years of > chronic exposure- I dropped over 60 lbs in almost a month when I > crashed-It got to be a joke with my friends-dying but I look great >
Guest guest
, I went through a couple of years of unexplained weight loss (started preferring the elastic waited things in my wardrobe, etc) and then about half year before cancer found, dropped it all and more, so I've had the same phenomenon without steroid being the cause. Right now I seem to be able to maintain a reasonable weight while eating well, a good combination but I attribute it to avoiding toxins and perhaps the CSM treatment, since my urine tests recently showed I have rid my system of most of the toxins...the ones that can be excreted via urine anyway. So I think the weight was a way my body was holding toxins and wonder if this is at least part of the reason why so many Americans are overweight...a craving for sweets due to overuse of antibiotics and resulting Candidas infections, and toxins building up in their bodies from this very toxic world we now live in holding toxins in fat tissue and also affecting hormones, add in the poor diet and little exercise and it's easy to understand. I rarely ate junk food and ALMOST never now but sometimes you are hungry and you just can only pick the healthiest junk food around, you know!!! Anyway, I've come to believe overweight is just a sign you are unhealthy. Some of overeating, some are not. Ill health can also be emotional, depression, causing eating too much (or too little) but equally I think it is due to physical ill health and that goal to get healthy, is best way to take extra weight off. Guest guest
My name is Mia. I am 24 and having the same problem. We just recently found the mold but for the past 4 months or so I have lost at least 60 lbs. I have desperately tried to drop about 50 lbs for 4 years my weight wouldn't budge just stayed the same. now I can't stop the weight loss it is starting to really scare me. I have had some sort of swallowing problem I choke on everything but i drank ensure plus everyday and soups and milkshakes. Odd but I contsantly want a milkshake only certain kind. I have had terrible rashes and it seems like every week I have bouts of retaining fluids in wierd spots can't understand it. Last week my hips and thighs were carying the water then I dropped it then my stomach will bloat up or my arms then they drop it and I will seem normal for a few days it is so wierd. Sometimes it even feels like i have swollen like lumps around my joints and they will hurt so bad usually one section of my body at a time and then it will move and dissappear again after few days. I am in middle of moving thank god were getting out of moldy house. Guest guest
Mia, it sounds similar to what I went through. I get the rashes and feel they are due to toxins in the liver. Google rashes+hepatoxicity. Mold toxins get into your organs and mostly the liver, toxic liver will give you rashes and also make your skin itch..it is the body trying to get rid of the toxins through your skin since your liver has fallen behind/overwhelmed with toxins it cannot remove quickly enough, so they stay in your blood. The toxins in your blood, makes your skin itch and can give you rashes. That is what mine are anyway. I still get alot of rashes, particularly where my skin is thinnest and blood comes to surface of my skin, inside of elbow, small of wrist, neck, face. Toxins are hardest on your gi tract and my throat bothers me alot also. Doctors just look inside with their eyes and say they see nothing and dismiss it, but that was first symptom and it always is irritating me and I have also felt a piece of food stick so irritated tissue is developing scar tissue. That's what I read and narrows throat opening. This has completely stumped me. What to do for gi tract/throat. I think I am in much cleaner place than before so hopefully that will make a big difference over time, avoiding toxins. > > > My name is Mia. I am 24 and having the same problem. Guest guest
Wow glad to know I am not alone here. I had a feeling that it was toxins as well. Every time it would get really bad I would just want to soak in hot bath thought maybe it would help for some reason. The doctors say I have GERD really bad but I believe that it was started because of mold. Even my blood pressure is elevated just a little. My whole body seems to be really irritated, and it seems that emotionaly and mentally I get irritated very quickly as well. I wonder how many people are living with this, that is scary. Guest guest
Mia- moving is the best thing you can do-your body will stop absorbing more toxins -and with carefull research you will be able to medicate and repair the damage to your body. This group is the best place to find out what you have to do to get better. > > > My name is Mia. I am 24 and having the same problem. Guest guest
I have developed anger problems also. It could be toxins making your nerves not as strong but also stressed by circumstances, it's harder to accept things when they go wrong, because I don't feel capable of handling ANOTHER problem or anything that isn't going right first time. > > Wow glad to know I am not alone here.
