Guest guest
, Happy New Year to you, too! What's interesting - and good! - about MoldAvenger is that they make no claim for killing mold. They only promote it for removing mold. Even when fogged in the air (?) they only claim removal, not killing. So they don't need EPA registration. Which makes me wonder why not just use a detergent and water to remove the mold and the film it grows on. As for fogging to get the mold out of the air, why not increase humidity a short time to accomplish the same thing. Yes, I know, humidity is bad, but MoldAvenger will be mostly water anyway, plus it will cost a lot more. Their MSDS isn't available on their Web site but I send an e-mail requesting it. I'll let you all know if I receive it. Carl Grimes Healthy Habitats LLC ----- > Hi everyone- Happy New Year! > I just saw this on an email I receive from - FACILITYCARE EMAIL REPORT > Jan. 9, 2007 http://www.facilitycare.com > Mold and Mildew Remover > MoldAvenger uses the latest in multi-enzyme technology to provide an industrial strength solution to mold and mildew removal that is both safe and effective. In one application, the product is designed to clean, remove stains, abate odors, neutralize PH, and remove mold and mildew at the molecular level and keep it from coming back for up to one year. The interior/exterior product can be sprayed on or fogged into the air in enclosed spaces where additional water is undesirable. The biodegradable cleaner will not produce toxic fumes or damage substrates and is safe for use around patients. Guest guest
Tide makes some kind of ultra-cheap ultrasonic cleaning device for laundry spot removal. I bet that would make a great mold remover. Seriously... I've seen it on sale at $19.95. But that wouldn't have helped us much as it can't get behind the walls.. thats where the real problem for us was... When you are a renter, you are at the mercy of your landlord, if they won't fix it, you are stuck. I guess they are often worried that if they open up the walls to fix a little bit, and they find a lot, they might be forced to fix it all. Guest guest
Unfortunately all the reviews at Amazon were very negative about the Tide Stain Buster, says it only works a couple of times and then gets clogged with soap and you can only do a small area at a time so even if it worked for myctoxins, it wouldn't be practical. > > Thanks.
