Guest guest
To everyone, I rarely post but still enjoy the posts. For those of you that have lost a child, I am so sorry. I will try to write occasionaly.I have severe neuropathy in my feet and lately it has been going up my legs mostly at night. My husband was doing a lot of the household chores but he had a hip replacement last December and did so well that he has overdone with various projects and we have to find out if it is his hip or his back. He had put sealer on our deck that was put on last year by our son in law last fall. He worked so hard and now he is having a terrible time. I hope to get to know you all. I knew you were down and are down over missing your son and your loss, that is why I was worried about you. This is a time that you truly need us and need to be posting as a part of our family here. I care a great deal for you and all of our other members here. > I'm so sorry your pain is so increased, not only in your heart, but your body. God bless you , I'm keeping you in my prayers. I pray that the Lord will make your load light and hopefully have some resolution to all that your other son is going through right now. I pray that calms for you and him both. Stress can sure do a number on us. > , you are a very special person. Keep your chin up, keep the good memories of your son. The happy times, laugh about them. He would want you to celebrate his life, and not be hindered by his death. I know this is so very hard, but in time, you'll be able to do this. It's taken me 4 yrs after my ex's suicide to do this. We've hit and missed over the years, but I think we have it down now. Even though we still do and always will miss him, the mourning part has really been healed I feel. I do still get mad at him sometimes, because he isn't here and I've been left to both Mother and Father my boys. Boys need their Dad's. And he isn't here. I'm not a good person to practice " tough love " . Never have been able to. He was the disciplinary and I was the nurturer. And it's still that way. I've let them get away with too much stuff. lol I'm just mush and I give in easily for the most part. > I do understand what you mean about no matter how old they are, we still hurt when they hurt and try to protect them. That will never stop. We are Mom's and it's our job and part of our make up to protect our young, even though they are older! They will always be my babies and I will always worry about them. > I hope you have a better day and your pain isn't so bad. > Love and hugs, > Tommie > ~Tommie~ > www.myspace.com/tommiejj > PH, CFS, FMS, Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, Restless Leg Syndrome > Don't waste energy second-guessing what you're missing or > what can go awry. Guest guest
Hi Lois!!! It's so nice to see you post! I know there are many of you out there who don't feel up to posting most of the time and you lurk instead. Very understandable. I just hope you all get something from the posts you read. And when ever you need a shoulder, we're here. You know that! I'm so sorry to hear about your Hubby! I hope it's not his back going out on him. Our backs serve such a great purpose in our everyday lives that we abuse it and don't really realize it until we've hurt ourselves. Hopefully it's not his hip, but that might the lesser of the two evils. I have neuropathy in my feet too, but mine is caused from a really bad car accident I had back in 2000. Did a lot of damage to my feet and I still suffer. So far it hasn't progress up my legs, thank God. I'm diabetic too and they have done testing and don't find Neuropathy in my legs and won't dx diabetic Neuropathy cause I don't have it. Anyway, the symptoms in my feet started about 4 yrs before I was diabetic anyway, so we do know it's not from the diabetes. Are you diabetic? And is that what your Neuropathy is from? I hope you get a good nights sleep and will visit us again tomorrow.
