Guest guest
Hi Tommie and group, I am here. Thank you for caring. Just in a funk, Last week was my son's birthday, that passed away last Oct. I just can't seem to pull out of the depression. It will be a year next month that he passed. My heart is heavy. Pain levels are awful. My other son is going through a divorce and a lot of fussing and stress as well. I just try to back off from it the best I can, but it's hard when your child is being attacked. They never get to old that we don't worry or their pain is not our pain too. The doctor says it is taking my health down even more. I don't know what else to do. I thank everyone for your support and love in this group. You have become family and care and support me more then my blood family. It seems like there was another on this list too, so I don't know if the subject line was referring to me or her. But that is what is going on with me. Let's hold those that are MIA close to our hearts and thoughts because they may be in a situation to where they can't reach out. We never know where these illnesses will take us. I don't know of any in my family that I could depend on to let the group know if I ended up in the hospital. Also we never know when these computers take some sick days too, which is very annoying when we need to log onto the world and can't get no where....sigh. Makes a long day. I didn't mean to ramble on. Just know you all are very special to me and have been a life line at times. Thank you,. Gentle hugs, in arkansas Subject: , Donnie, Donna, and all of you others who are MIA To: Hugs-N-Pain Date: Thursday, September 4, 2008, 1:39 PM Hey you all, I hope you are all doing ok. Guest guest
There you are Yes you are the one I was referring to I missed you. I knew you were down and are down over missing your son and your loss, that is why I was worried about you. This is a time that you truly need us and need to be posting as a part of our family here. I care a great deal for you and all of our other members here. I'm so sorry your pain is so increased, not only in your heart, but your body. God bless you , I'm keeping you in my prayers. I pray that the Lord will make your load light and hopefully have some resolution to all that your other son is going through right now. I pray that calms for you and him both. Stress can sure do a number on us. , you are a very special person. Keep your chin up, keep the good memories of your son. The happy times, laugh about them. He would want you to celebrate his life, and not be hindered by his death. I know this is so very hard, but in time, you'll be able to do this. It's taken me 4 yrs after my ex's suicide to do this. We've hit and missed over the years, but I think we have it down now. Even though we still do and always will miss him, the mourning part has really been healed I feel. I do still get mad at him sometimes, because he isn't here and I've been left to both Mother and Father my boys. Boys need their Dad's. And he isn't here. I'm not a good person to practice " tough love " . Never have been able to. He was the disciplinary and I was the nurturer. And it's still that way. I've let them get away with too much stuff. lol I'm just mush and I give in easily for the most part. I do understand what you mean about no matter how old they are, we still hurt when they hurt and try to protect them. That will never stop. We are Mom's and it's our job and part of our make up to protect our young, even though they are older! They will always be my babies and I will always worry about them. I hope you have a better day and your pain isn't so bad. Guest guest
Hi Donnie!!! I missed you too. Glad you are back. I'm sorry you've been having some problems and so very sorry to hear of the loss of your son I just can't imagine losing a child. As you know, my son goes to Afghanistan in Nov. and I'm praying now that he will come back. I have faith that he will. He just has to as I don't know what I'd do if I lost him. I don't even want to think about the possibility, but it has crossed my mind, I mean, this IS war. But God bless him, he wanted to do this and he wanted to go over there and do his part. And he is! I hope you are having a low pain day. Glad you are back. Guest guest
Keri, I don't know whats happened to Jodie. I've been trying to reach her through private email and on myspace for a couple of weeks now. She last signed onto her myspace on 9/2, I saw that yesterday, but she's just not responding to any of us. I don't know what's up with her, but I hope she is ok and no one did anything to hurt her feelings. I'll keep writing to her and see if I can get her to answer. I know Donnie had written to her as well. I think Donnie said he had her phone number and was going to call her, but he never posted back if he got ahold of her or not. I'll write a post to him and see. Let us know if you hear anything too.
