Guest guest
Did he prescribe it as a topical treatment? I know of Lamisil OTC cream for topical treatment. There are tons of things you can use topically for fungus. If it's topical, it seems to me there would be no drawbacks to trying it. If you see improvement, it's working. If you don't, try another type of antifungal. There are many types of these, including natural antifungals you can put on skin. If it's internal, I don't know. > > Has anyone heard of Lamisil as an anti fungal? Guest guest
You heard of someone dying from Lamisil? Janet
Guest guest
I would not take two antifungals at one time myself, but that's just me. At least I would start one before starting the other and watch carefully for signs of agreeing/not agreeing. Look for any rashes that appear. In me, that was liver trouble. --- In , " ldelp84227 " <ldelp84227@...> wrote: > > -I heard of someone dying from Lamisil so be careful. Diflican was good > for me. Guest guest
I took Lamisil several times...it helped a great deal for aspergillus exposure and I felt each day there was poison being literally sucked from my face and sinuses...I was able to breathe much better within a few weeks...caution is so important...I had liver function tests done each month and I did NOT drink ANY ALCOHOL...this can not be underestimated as there can be very serious consequences...I did lots of research on European studies before I took it. I may never fullly recover, but that got me to a better place than I was previously. The liver tests are very important because you can't easily get another one. I felt pretty lousy but drank a lot of water, stayed in bed most of the time to allow it to work because it is not something you want to take without a great deal of prudence --------------------------------- Découvrez une nouvelle façon d'obtenir des réponses à toutes vos questions ! Guest guest
I'll pass this on. Someone I know had a friend who went to fill a Rx at Walmart for one of these $4 medicines and they accidentally called his insurance. Afterwards he got a note from his insurance saying that if he was going to get medicines outside of his insurance program then his insurance may be dropped. I think this must be one of those 'gottcha' things I've heard about, where they use ANYTHING to justify dropping anyone who is using their insurance/i.e. has health problems, so word of caution about handling this. > > I changed the subject to Lamisil. Yes, I used Lamisil. It made a huge difference in my cognitive problems. I have told other people about it and they tried it and told me that it helped them too.
