Guest guest
I tried Maca recently as it's supposed to be good for folks with low thyroid and it's supposed to help with energy levels, although I didn't notice a huge impact. My understanding is that it's a hormonal adaptogen and that it works on the hypothalamus-pituitary gland. But, I think that's part of our system that's typically trashed by the toxins, so I don't know that it can do much to compensate for the damage. Although, others may not be as trashed as I am, so might get some benefit. My view on these supplements is that it's always worth a try.
