Guest guest
I had the HR guy check to see if the neuropsychological evaluation had been received at the retirement system and they said NO. Tuesday's are when the Bd reviews the applications so here goes another week. I thought back and had wrote down for the doc to send copy of evaluation to the State Med. Bd so that may be the problem and needed to go to the retirement system. I left a message at the Dr.'s office and hope they call back Wed. I can give them a fax number to send the report asap if it is ready. They haven't called me yet to schedule the followup and today makes 3 weeks since appt. I surely can't go another month with no pay. I did find out I can apply with my mortgage to not have to pay that bill until I get a paycheck again and waiting for that in the mail. They didn't have an option to fill out form online which sucks. I'm savinig on gas by not using the gas driving to work but still there are plenty of bills. I went out to grocery store and post office today and got HIT with something and I know when I get hits, I get the pins/needles etc real bad like when I'm in toxic work place. My neck hasn't been as bad lately but here comes another front to bring a wintery mix maybe and been cold. I also have been using a massager with heat so will see how long I get relief. I also wonder if some of the fatigue I have is from the CSM and now when at home I do not take 4 packs a day. But before CSM and low dose naltrexone I had the extreme fatigue so time will tell when I don't have to take CSM daily and out of toxic workplace for good what the chronic fatigue will do. I'm still taking the low dose naltrexone and have for over 2 years. I can say it took the burn/throb strange pain all over away first week on it but all the re- exposure it surely didn't protect my nerves in back of my neck but may be now that I've been out of toxic work since Jan. 8th. I did something else also that some may find strange but I've always had this strong energy in my hands I feel when I put them together and use to spook people if they put their hand up to mine when they felt the vibrations. Never really thought much about it except nobody else I knew has that. Well, my friend said he just heard a show on hands on healing so what do I have to lose.....After I've been putting my hands on the back of my neck and as far down as I can go and on back of head daily. My neck got better so hey, whether I have some healing energy or whatever I'm gonna work on my crazy face pressure and horrible sinus crap and why not all over! Then I thought maybe it's just the pressure changes not as drastic and away from toxic workplace. Time will tell but I'd rather use my hands and massager/heat than get more steroids shot in my neck and head. Who knows what that is doing and hurts!! I can say tho after my first hands on session I felt relief and I can tell ya it wasn't power of suggestion b/c I would have been healed eons ago trying that one. I'm disappointed in them not receiving the evaluation yet and this is the last Tuesday of this month so now I have Feb. to wait. Guest guest
Rhonda, I just read what you wrote about the extreme fatigue possibly being from the CSM. I experienced that when I first started taking it. I was very sick when I left school & started sleeping for over 10 hrs. a day & even a nap in the afternoon. I was taking it 4X a day and NEVER missed a dose. For about the first 4 to 6 months all I did was sleep!!! When I finally started to feel better I felt as if I had come out of a coma!!! It is important to take the CSM 4x a day if that is what your Dr. instructed. Remember that your body has been poisoned & it will take some time to get all the toxins out. I think I took the CSM 4x a day for a good yr. before doing to just 2x a day. Sue of the fatigue I have is from the CSM and now when at home I do not take 4 packs a day. But before CSM and low dose naltrexone I had the extreme fatigue so time will tell when I don't have to take CSM daily and out of toxic workplace for good what the chronic fatigue will do. It's going on 4 yrs. for me and I still take it twice a day without fail and feeling so much better. Sue I also wonder if some of the fatigue I have is from the CSM and now when at home I do not take 4 packs a day. Guest guest
Good luck Rhonda! I'll probably take the CSM for the rest of my life. I never know what may come into the house that would give me a hit. Mail, my husband, son, friends, etc. So the 2X a day seems to work very well for me! Just remember to take it on an empty stomach, followed by another cup of water. Don't eat or take other meds until 30 minutes later but wait at least 2 hrs. before taking thyroxine, digitalis, theophylline, & coumadin. If you eat first then wait at least 60 minutes before taking the CSM. Sue Thinking back I do think the extreme fatigue set in starting the CSM and yes, I have to sleep 10 or more hours a day. I'm not taking CSM while at home unless I feel I get a hit so I want to see if I get energy back. I did have extreme fatigue before LDN. I wonder also ifCSM can be absorbing my low dose naltrexone somehow and I'm not getting full benefit from the LDN. When I worked, I took last dose of CSM at 5:00pm or so and LDN 9pm. I've wondered about that the whole time taking the CSM if if could interfere with LDN somehow since LDN regulates endorphins to where they should be and Dr. Bihari found that people with diseases and sickness seem to have low endorphin counts. Endorphins are anti-inflammatory along with a lot of other things they do good for our bodies and we need them. I got such relief from LDN until my Fall heat slammed me in 2005 and the air scrubbers the mold remediation company used got me and then at work things got worse in 2006 and I also started CSM March 2006. If I can get out of toxic work place for good and not have to take CSM and stay on LDN and supplments, time will tell how I can feel in the future. Guest guest
I'll always have CSM on me 24/7 b/c I never know what is going to hit me either. Remember, I've only been out of toxic work place since Jan. 9th so I only will find out now how many hits I get and when. I've already got them since I've been out and haven't been too many places so that stinks. I really want to see if the fatigue lets up not taking CSM all the time. I get hits just opening magazines and books that come in the mail or going to the grocery store, post office or small stores around here the few times so far I've been there out of work. Yesterday got a bigger hit when I went out and not sure from what but Post Office was the extra stop. I do get hits from getting mail from my mail box. So I won't be CSM free for sure the rest of my life. Wish I could. Yes, I take CSM and wait 30 minutes before eating etc and 2-3 hrs before any meds and time before vitamins. I just do not want to take CSM 2 times daily everyday just in case if I don't have to. Time will tell. 4X a day def. helped me better than 2X a day while in work place but that was only helping with appetite and that was close to the time I left there recently with major fatigue also. Guest guest
I don't think that my fatigue has any connection to taking cholestyramine, as if anything, the cholstyramine clearly fights it. Are you sure you are taking it correctly? The fatigue is caused by the chaos that these toxins wreak on many different bodily systems and its the worst aspect of mold illness for me. Many people with CFS get it from mold and it lasts a long time.. I'm hoping that I can buck the trend and get mine cured.. who knows.. we'll see.. Guest guest
I think the fatique is a result of disfunction of the adrenal glands, exspecially if you had involvement of the cns with your exposure. --- In , LiveSimply <quackadillian@...> wrote: > > I don't think that my fatigue has any connection to taking cholestyramine, > as if anything, the cholstyramine clearly fights it. > > Are you sure you are taking it correctly? > > The fatigue is caused by the chaos that these toxins wreak on many different > bodily systems and its the worst aspect of mold illness for me. Guest guest
Heres a couple of links to check out STRESS, ENDOCRINE PHYSIOLOGY AND PATHOLOGY <http://www.endotext.org/adrenal/adrenal8/adrenalframe8.htm> ADRENAL FATIQUE <http://www.lammd.com/A3R_brief_in_doc_format/adrenal_fatigue.cfm> if you go down to causes, stressors that lead to adrenal fatique, toxin exposure and chronic infection amoung others are listed. and check out tips for healthy adrenal glands and diet, these might not solve our fatique but may help. 's disease is known as complete disfunction of adrenal glands, often the result of auto- immune disease or infectious origin. > > > > I don't think that my fatigue has any connection to taking > cholestyramine, > > as if anything, the cholstyramine clearly fights it. > > > > Are you sure you are taking it correctly? > > > > The fatigue is caused by the chaos that these toxins wreak on many > different > > bodily systems and its the worst aspect of mold illness for me. > Many people > > with CFS get it from mold and it lasts a long time..
