Guest guest
This is great that they have at least admitted that there is a problem but talk is cheap. There really needs to be a systemic review of how we treat vets in this country with the goal being to reverse this steady decline in the quality of their care and bring it up to international standards. We should also take much better care of people who are seriously injured and not just throw them out to sink or swim like we often do. before they go committing any more money for grandiose new projects they should fund that. We are saving many of the injured in wars who ten or twenty years ago would have died but then we throw them into a healthcare system that is completely dysfunctional. Their families are already reeling from the shock in other ways and to then put them through stuff like this is just appalling.
