Yep, I realize that but like I said he was running late, about 2 hours because of having been out of town the day before so since it also made me 2 hours late, I didn't bother to get them this time. I'll get all the numbers when I go back in December. As a note of interest, VLDL seems to be referred to as LP(A) here. Lipoprotein(a). Guest guest
I have never done genetic tests on Jeff or me. Only Alec actually. You have better odds than me so far. I asked the dr what are my odds for having another autistic child. She sat back and thought and then said about 25%. I smiled and said " Great! So far I am at 100% 25% sounds great! " LOL so far I am 2 for 2 sao anything sounded better.LOL Jacquie H Glad your testing went well! > Hey everyone I got the test results. > Doc seems to think I am genetically a normal female. > (Little does he know!!) > NO decisions yet on having more offspring. > > in Maine > Mom to 3, HFA > Dale 13 NT > AOL IM: wildflow30 > Yahoo: wildflow30 > > > Autism a part of our world > not a world apart. Guest guest
Hey you guys, I am really scared right now. Last week I had an abdominal cat scan. Today the doctors office called to tell me that I have to go have an ultrasound on Friday because the cat scan showed an abnormal mass on my liver. My liver is also enlarged. Damn, if it's not one thing it's another. This is probably why I have been having so many digestive problems. I'm afraid that the doctor will take me off of my Norco because of the tylenol in it because tylenol is so hard on the liver. So lets see, I have: diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea, copd, peripheral neuropathy, arthritis all over, kidney failure, failing eye sight due to diabetes, ulcerative colitis, two failed back surgeries, spinal stenosis, bulging and ruptured discs, and self pity right now. LOL I may have even forgot a diagnosis or three! I have to stick my finger four times a day and take up to five injections of insulin per day. OK...I think I am done...thanks for letting me vent. I will keep you posted in the next week. I hope you all are having as good a day as possible. LIVE AND LET LIVE RITA

Guest guest
Rita, I'm so very sorry to hear of your test results. I'm sure he will want to take you off the Norco, you might ask him for Roxycodone. It's Percocet without any Tylenol and it comes in 15mg pills. So it's better than Norco! And it's used just like Norco, for break thru pain. I used to take it and it's really good. I just hope what ever the mass is it's benign. I'm praying for the best results for you. Please keep us posted. Hugs ~Tommie~ www.myspace.com/tommiejj PH, CFS, FMS, Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, Restless Leg Syndrome Don't waste energy second-guessing what you're missing or what can go awry. Guest guest
Rita, I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I know they really worry about too much tylenol being hard on your liver. I hope they will find that the mass is benign and can remove it. When do you go in? Please keep us posted. It sounds like you are dealing with an awful lot of stuff right now. I don't know how you keep going with all those terrible diagnoses! I'll be thinking of you. Chelle
Guest guest
You guys are the best! I went for the ultrasound this AM and it reall was no big deal. I did get a little put out with the tech that did the test. I asked her if I could see the screen and she wouldn't let me. She said that would be diagnosing! I explained to her that it was MY body but that didn't move her off of her high horse. I know that she was probably doing what she was taught to do. I thought that medicine had moved past the place where we don't let patients have access to their own records.
