The experience was one of energy shooting into my chest, all the stress and fear just made me weak. But I had some healing with a therapist, which helped it to release. *****If the therapist is a person with whom you feel comfortable and safe, and if you notice improvement, even if it is only gradual, it sounds encouraging and I can imagine your continuing. I worked long- term with a therapist. She was a person whom I resonated with, and the cumulative result of the sessions was a godsend. I don't think I'd be alive today otherwise. I certainly wouldn't be as integrated as I am had I not worked with this person. Also, I just did the work by phone. After the turnaround: I am strong and stable, one of my examples was that I experienced my deepest fear so far, and I am still here. That's good news! *****Excellent! This seems like a good reason for you to continue doing the work by phone and, little by little, as you feel comfortable and at a pace that is appropriate for you, learning to do the work on your own.
