Guest guest
I know it's poor etiquette to Reply to one's own posting, but I should also add that I found adding an additional dose of fish oil each day helped deal with this increase in inflammation. And, I was already taking mega-doses (3 tbsp twice a day). Also, the oil (rather than capsules) was recommended to my be a nutritionist as she said that for folks like us (with gluten intolerance and other gut issues) the oil is far better absorbed than the capsules. And that was certainly my experience when I switched (taking equivalent dosages). And, as a tidbit of information, my labs also supported the fact that you can have this increase in inflammation as my C4A was one of the few things in normal range prior to starting the CSM and it went to over 3000 (after 2 months on CSM and pre-abx), then to over 6000 (after 4 months on CSM and post-abx) before returning to normal 4 months after that (a total of 8 months after starting the CSM).
