Guest guest
Hello! Well I've finally decided to give low-carbing a real try. I've been eating moderate-to-low carb for a while now, with good BG levels, and I thought I might try to follow it closely to see if it helps with my weight loss. (Plus a change is always good.) I've ordered the big 3 books (Atkins, Protein Power, and Bernstein) from Amazon yesterday. I have a question regarding subtracting fiber grams from the carb grams. I use a meat substitute called Quorn, and I noticed today the following: Per 100 grams: 1.4 grams of carb (of which sugars are 0.6 grams) 4.9 grams of fibre Does this mean I can count 100 grams of Quorn as 0 carbs? Thanks, Dawn .....you've got to search for the hero inside yourself..........M People ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dawnsue@... - www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~dawnsue/
