Guest guest
Put white vinegar in a spray bottle and spray veggies and fruits and wash off with water. I use white vinegar for all types of things like cleaning countertops, bathroom, cleaning bunny litterboxes, put it in the wash for disinfectant, spray it on inside of my storm doors that will grow mold from condensation, soak my dental retainer in it and the list goes on. You can dilute the white vinegar with water and make it ast longer. I have spray bottles throughout my house. That should save you some money. Just buy it by the gallon. White vinegar is some good stuff. Natural antibacterial and antifungal. I first found out how great white vinegar is when I started rescuing bunnies and was told to not use chemical cleaners on bunny litterboxes and it is a great carpet cleaner for stains along with peroxide which I keep that in a separate spray bottle. I wouldn't mix the two together. The vinegar smell doesn't last long. Try it out and I bet you won't buy anymore toxic, chemical cleaners. Guest guest
HI Rhonda!! Thanks for answering!! I use lots and lots of vinegar for cleaning!! I go through about a gallon and a half a week. I don't find the smell bad. Once it is dry, it leaves a very fresh smell. I think in one of my other postings here I told about how I got really sensitive to vinegar when I was in my mold house. I could not use it back then and I still use with caution just incase I get sensitive again to it. One thing, it does not remove any dirt or other such substance from root veggies such as potatoes and carrots. I don't like using soap on these kind of veggies. I don't like the pricy veggie cleaners at the supermarket either. I wonder if there is anything that can be added to the vinegar will dissolve the dirt on such veggies? > > > > Water? Guest guest
I haven't read all the reply post to this but Grapefruit Seed Extract you can buy in liquid drops and use but I've never used it. I did take the pills way back myself. Rhonda > > > > > > Water? Maybe with a drop of soap? > > > > > > > > >
