Guest guest
Jackie, Rhonda, Live,Mia and All: Thank you Jackie, exactly and give me a call sometime kiddo. All: I am constantly looking for safer housing. I am going to do what it takes. I am not only here to fight for myself, there are others here I must try to help. We are all in the same situation here, some aren't as sick as I am, on the other hand: " it isnt a contest on who is the sickest anyways " . I just need to help them while I am here, I am sure you all can understand this. I know what I am dealing with in this apartment, yes it is well documented. I thank all of you for your concern. I know what has to be done now regarding the bathroom. I just pray that I can also make a difference in someone else's life from the journey I am taking now. To me it isn't just about me, and never has been. Like being on this board, if some of the information I find while on the internet and I think it is of value or of importance to the group, who knows it might make a difference in someone's life. I appreciate everyone's help very much. One thing though, KC and Sharon C.: Your very special people, keep up the great work. Guest guest
I know what your saying. Our old landlord just moved in a new tenant to our moldy house I just felt like going over there and picketing or something I feel so awful I think I should warn the lady who moved in I just wish someone would have warned me. Darlene where do you live, try contacting red cross or something if you live near Oakdale California I would let u stay in our spare room for a while. Seriously I really feel like this mold killed my mother, no one would listen to her and I didn't understand how bad it is. Are you guys all in california? Lets do something as a group and try to get some help for these people making some phone calls. I am home all day this mold has almost killed me I am feeling better now and dont want anyone to have to suffer. I am so sorry and so angry at slumlords Let me know what if anything I can do to help Mia Darlene <darlenesb2000@...> wrote: Jackie, Rhonda, Live,Mia and All: Thank you Jackie, exactly and give me a call sometime kiddo. Guest guest
Mia, I am in Worcester Massachusetts. I am very angry how these landlords get away with things, even with the proof I have presented. I will not give up. Thank you for the offer, but I am far away from you. I think if we all keep emailing media in all states they will get a clue on how many are very ill from the molds. I am very active in contacting all media across the states: tv, newspapers, and radio personalities. I won't give up til my situation hits the news, and then it will help others like I plan. I feel if I can get one media contact out here to listen, then we will have a chance in this complex. Darlene MIA KNIPPEL <windigo5150@...> wrote: I know what your saying. Guest guest
Did any of you get bulk or tape lift samples taken by a third party (someone else) of any visible mold tested? If so, what were the results? There is a QPCR test that costs $250 that you can run on the dust collected by a HEPA vacumn cleaner, as well. Guest guest
I know this is not possible for most on this list but for those who it is, my shelter I made out of metal drywall studs and 4x8 sheets of Styrofoam and bisqueen is working fantastic! I feel soooo much better now. Haven't even got totally disconnected from the house. I still need to go in for food and water and washing and what not. but only do it with a respirator on. Once I get completely out I will even be better than I am now. I am almost to that stage now. If anyone out there who is suffering can put a all metal shed in their back yard or something similar to what I have done I highly recommend it. All I did was make a frame out of metal drywall studs, put 4x8 Styrofoam sheets on that (with duct tape) and than put the bisqueen over this with duct tape. I have a waterproof shelter and no materials that are conducive to mold. Also if I ever suspect mold I can recover it for a few measly hundred dollars. And their are few places where it can grow without my detection. It's a very cheap and effective solution. I should warn anyone doing this that you need to make sure your shelter has adequate ventilation. Bisqueen is not permeable to air or water so you could in theory asphyxiate yourself if you don't allow some air movement. My camper is leaky enough that I don't have to worry about this. >Jackie, Rhonda, Live,Mia and All: Thank you Jackie, exactly and give me a call sometime kiddo.
