You don't? Can you hazard a guess as to where my FT£ might have been had I

not taken that morning's dose?

Well yes I did take my Armour because I had no idea he was planning to do a

thyroid test, no idea at all, he certainly did not mention it and he talked

through the other tests he was planning.

The thing is Val I feel awful, have done for months now so is that not

telling me that I am overmedicated. I don;t think I have felt anyway near well

since I was at about 2 grains and even then I wasn't brilliant but was able to

take the dog on the train to the beach and back without collapsing on my

return.

These days I am just running on empty all day.

By the way, the doc tested for sodium and it was right at the top[ of the

range. Now that was a surprise.

Do you think that indicates that I should stop the salt Val?

As T3 peaks rather quickly, I would say you are close to the top of it's

range if you hadn't taken it that day,

I HAD taken it that day of the test Val because I was not aware that the GP

was testing thyroid.

I have never taken T4 Val as the GP never prescribed me thyroid meds. Can

you explain to me as I know nothing about T4, explain what this would do, how it

would help. Are you saying i should drop dowm a half grain? Or was that only

if I had not taken my meds on the day of the test.

BTW how are you on adrenal meds?

A high Free T3 can indicate under dosing on HC as it will build in the blood

due to it not being able to get into the cells.

OK. Would 25 mg be considered under-dosing? I am anxious but then I came out

of the womb that way!

Yes. I think so, I don't think they ever went away to be honest even though

I have been taking h.c for a year and half. Having said that someone said to

me yesterday that they thought I was much more grounded in recent times. Does

that count? I still feel anxious and a bit depressed, light and noise

sensitive, insomnia still an issue but then it has been since childhood. Is

there

something in particular I should be looking for Val?

Could it not simply be that I have overshot my sweet spot Val?

How are your temps?

Well last time I reported them to you they were steady at high 90's. They

went higher recently and I was so pleased, hovering around 98 but then I

discovered I had a kidney infection and it may well have been a slight temp.

cleared up and so I start doing temps again from today.

I never intended stopping it Val. That was the GPs advice but that went in

one ear and out the other.

I am inclined to follow your advice Val. In fact, that is what I am actively

doing.

I am curious though.

What would likely happen if i did stop the Armour as per the doc's

suggestion. It would help me to know this so I can make sensible comments about

close to it, but your adrenals are still acting up. Lets see what a temp

I wouldn't, but do consider adding in some T4 as that is still low.

Yes I just had a look, Blondie's are 100 micrograms. So I could to

quarter these.

Just one a day indefinitely?

How would this likely affect me Val. I realise it would bring up the

T4 is you are able to metabolize it properly should give you more

stamina and overall strength. It is three as a back up for when your T3

runs low.

Not usually! It is supposed to build in your system and it takes time for that

and it also takes time and the ability of your body to be able to utilize it.

You should feel it in 3-6 weeks.
