Guest guest
Mold problem at Greenwood police station worse than expected KATC 3 Lafayette http://www.katc.com/global/story.asp?s=6085219 GREENWOOD, La. What's lurking behind the walls of the Greenwood Police Department headquarters is even worse than first thought. The mold problem has left the town with the looming question: Where do we go from here? The police department is working out of temporary headquarters after its 50-plus-year-old station down the street was evacuated because of mold. And based on the environmental company's latest report, it doesn't look like Chief Dunn and his 11 officers will be returning anytime soon. The mold remediation company has put any further work on hold until the town decides what to do. The company recommends totally gutting the building and questions if it's even worth saving. Corrective actions have also been suggested for town hall and the Pioneer Community Center. (From KTBS-TV, Shreveport)
