Guest guest
It hasn't beome toxic. It just doesn't happen. Mold illness eliminates your libido. Did my post from a few days ago about the MSH-based aphrodisiac that is in the approval pipeline make it out to the list? I didn't see any responses on it. But a company's version of an intranasal MSH relative seems to act as an aphrodisiac for people. There have been a number of news articles in the media about a product that has been on the verge of coming out for two or three years now.. Guest guest
Everyone knows that std's can be a hazard, are you talking about some type of disease that is not recognized by the cdc? Are you talking about safe sex (monogamous relationships) or risky behavior? Do moldies have to be careful about possibly infecting others with their illness? How is having sex toxic? Please be more specific. Guest guest
LS, Yes, it did make it on the board and in the future if you aren't sure because you didn't see it come to the main website and you can check the posts. Not every post gets a response though. , AOL, Internet Explorer and other email carriers at times all have their problems. I do not have any control over this. This is why I do everything from the board so I don't miss anything. I see the message the second it's posted, not several hours or even days later. I don't trust the carriers enough to do everything from my email, just a fact of life. As far as the MSH and the products becoming available, apparently there are some, but I do not have a list. I just received from Dr.Shoemaker, there are some on the market. And this is a good thing. Guest guest
I wouldn't go as far as saying it is toxic, but it might as well be. So you get my point. What do you mean exactly by the use of the term toxic? This can be taken several different ways. I kind of frowned putting this on the board because it is in a way a touchy private subject, that most do not like to discuss. Unfortunately this is one of the after affects of mold exposure that does seem to affect everyone, directly or indirectly. Most doctors wouldn't pay any attention to this or dare to even ask the quesiton, because to them it's not important compared to all the other conditions. But yet if it affected them it would be number one on their " hit " parade. But sorry ladies, I guess that's a man thing. Dr.S., does ask this question and he knows it does affect the libido or lack of one. Guest guest
One other thing, with many that I have spoken to (men & women) and some my wife have spoken to because they sometimes don't feel comfortable speaking with me, which is ok, the question does come up. How is your sex life or how has this affected your sex life? The joke answer, " what sex life or let me try to remember that far back " . The feelings, drive etc., just aren't there, it's like that part of the brain has completely shutdown. My wife's thought, all jokes aside, just leave the money on the pillow. There is no feeling and if there is it's painful. Guest guest
When you are exposed to mycotoxins and Toxins ETC, your Endorphins are depleted and very low if any. This is part of why you have NO sex drive. When I took low dose naltrexone which regulates endorphins, the libido regulates also. Endorphins also are natural anti-inflammatory and do a lot of great things for the body and we need them to be regulated to where they should be. Toxins as well as other stressors deplete our endorphins. Do all you can to get your endorphins UP and regulated and you may see that your Sex Life come Back....naturally. Spicey foods help too. Guest guest
There are so many substances produced by molds as they compete with each other for food that the effects of mycotoxins are way too numerous to generalize about. And they are discovering new ones all the time.
Guest guest
Has anybody tried arginine, Maca, acetyl-l-carnitine and/or phosphatidyl serine for this?

Guest guest
As I understand it, its the lack of MSH and destruction f the MSH receptors that causes people to lose their libido. http://www.moldwarriors.com/msh-info.htm

Guest guest
My MMP9 and VEGF were normal but my inflamatory markers were sky high and my MSH was in the cellar. I think having a good MSH means you can expect to get over your mold exposure if you stay away from it, are away from your exposure. I could be wrong. I'm not an expert on Dr Shoe's research. > > I can say after taking LDN for a year and having the MSH and the other > test my ENT tested for that Dr. Shoe takes with the blood panel, My MSH > was Not Low and the only test High was MMP9 1112 March 2006.
