Guest guest
The neuropsyche test result I requested copied Tuesday and I haven't received them Yet. Everything is like a fight to get anything done. I get another packet from retirement system and seems the quote I got before for retirement disability is now $500 less. I wonder if anyone knows what they are doing at the retirement system. I cannot understand how to fill out all the forms and can't get my calls returned either. There is something about taxes I do not understand so maybe my tax man will know. I'm not sure with retirement disability if I get to choose a beneficiary either. Maybe my HR guy will help me if the retirement system won't. I just know I need a paycheck in March and should be Jan.-March and that is the 25th I have to wait to get them. I'm exhausted and not sure I can deal with SSDI. Haven't heard if I'm approved for the moratorium on my house payments but will be able to pay in March if I get paid. These weather fronts are killing me and wish they would stop. I'll be glad when Spring and Summer is back now and stays light longer but still we have fronts. I watched An Inconvenient Truth last night which was interesting and scary but I've believed in Global Warming all along. Rhonda
Guest guest
Rhonda, Number one, all these forms that you have to fill out you should get help with, especially being in your condition and claiming you are suffering severe illnesses. If you can fill out all these forms by yourself and these people are not stupid, a disabled person a very high percentage of the time, would not be able to do this on their own and they know this. Most that suffer from severe cognitive disorders, posts, emails, etc., most can not write a book (longgggggg posts)or spell everything correctly, because of the fatigue and other conditions. Just something else that they watch for. If you can do this at home, you can still work is the way they look at it. Number two, don't be naive and believe everything your mortgage company tells you, I've been this route many times. You better get names, not that it really matters and get everything in black and white, again not that it matters in the end. They contradict themselves frequently. One reason you never know who will answer the phone when you call them. You mentioned what they promised you, their response, oh you didn't talk to me, oh they were incorrect, we can't do that. If you do not pay for the month of February, your next payment for March, April and May none of these will go towards February, now they can foreclose and they will........ It happens ALL the time. To get on the special program (whatever they may call it) loss mitigation is what is was called for us, or hardship program, to where they lower your payments, you have to be two months in behind to qualify, 60 days (which we were not, but we trusted them) we hated to do this because we were never behind and I thought they would just tack it on the end of our mortgage (that is what they also said) WRONG... Now it's time for them to play more games, because you are only 30 days away from foreclosure. They don't receive your checks on time, they hold them and then add late fees (this is even with certified, next day delivery) you sent it to the wrong office, we never received it. Ours even changed our acct number and sent us a letter to mail our payment to this address, only to find out that we should never have received that letter and the payment(s) should have gone to the other office. Then you get a threatening letter from their atty. stating you owe them XXX amount of dollars (attys fees added naturally) Surprise, pay this by a certain date, normally within less than a week or they foreclose. Please don't think this doesn't happen, it has happened to us more time than we can count. It's an evil game and you leave them an opportunity and they will jump on it. Most likely what they will do is wait till the amount is $5 - 10,000. late fees etc., before they notify you that you owe an X amt. Just a word of caution. You are better off paying your mortgage no matter what or where you have to get the money. Trust me, I know first hand.
